We can only help with supported browsers, but why do you think this is related to Zotero? Does the problem go away if you disable the Zotero Connector and reload the page, and does it come back if you re-enable the extension and reload the page?

Not sure what you mean here. The extension provides the option of what collection to save to as long as you're saving to the desktop app and not the online library. (The only exception is direct PDF saves in Firefox, for technical reasons.)
