Yes, it's not available on file:// URLs, which are files you've already downloaded to your computer. Adjust your browser settings to show PDFs at the original remote (http/https) URL rather than downloading them: https://forums.zotero.org/discussio…

Those are expressions of concern, not retractions. We currently only show retractions.

(Please start new threads for new issues — the thread you posted to isn't at all related to your questions. I've moved this to a new thread.) Primo problema, non riesco a vedere il Pluggin di Zotero su Chrome. Riesco comunque a scaricare i riferimen…

Can't open them on which webpage? In the Zotero web library? Files synced via WebDAV aren't on Zotero servers, so there's no way you can open them in the web library.
-
We need a Debug ID after restarting Zotero and reloading Google Docs, not the same Debug ID you already provided.
-
That page is saving for me. It may have been a temporary failure on PubMed's end. If you're still having trouble, provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reloading the page and trying to save.
-
It's possible the citation dialog is appearing behind your browser window. Look through your other windows. (The window would belong to the Zotero app.) If you're sure it's not that, restart Zotero and provide a Debug ID from Zotero for reloading Go…

disk I/O error This is a generic storage I/O error. We can't tell you specifically what the problem is, but the most common cause is having your Zotero data directory on a network filesystem or in a cloud storage folder (where it should never be). I…

That's an HTTP 401 Unauthorized error from your WebDAV provider. That's all we can tell you.

There are likely other items that are selected. Sort the list by Title.

@AAHDokter: There's no "issue" — nothing is broken.
-
Customize the citation and use Omit Author. See "Narrative Citations with Omit Author” there. A better way of doing this is planned.

Actually, looking at the server logs, it looks like you set up syncing a bunch of times over 10 minutes or so earlier today, which means you also unlinked your sync account a bunch of times. As I say above, unlinking an account also provides the opt…

OK, so first, this is the first you've mentioned multiple computers this entire thread. I'm not sure why you waited 19 comments to mention that? We could've saved a bunch of time talking about the contents of the data directory and disk-cleaning uti…

That person didn't know what they were talking about — they shouldn't have chimed in. Syncing a populated local library with a new account does not, and cannot, delete the local data. It is not possible. And if it did, it wouldn't result in what you…

We can't help until you do that. The problem may just go away. If it doesn't, we'd want to see a Debug ID from Zotero startup (using "Restart with Logging Enabled…") for reproducing it.

No, the deleted comment was from a community member and was incorrect — that's why it was deleted. The possibilities are what I said above. I promise you there is no other possibility.
-
It sounds like your database was corrupted. Are you using the default location for the Zotero data directory or a custom location? What do you mean when you say that you can't open files?
-
Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing this, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
-
(3) you mean? Again, that makes you check a "Remove all data from “[old account]” from this computer" checkbox, so there's no indication that anything would be merged. But you should check the old account, in case you were actively syncing.
-
Wait, how exactly are you generating these citations in Word? Do you mean a multi-item citation, or just multiple citations you've inserted separately in a row? The latter will produce "23456" initially, but you just need to click Refresh, and Zoter…

But that's not what we're testing. We're testing the thing that you're reporting — collapsing of consecutive citation numbers. Again, choose Citations.
-
Select three items, right-click, Create Items from Bibliography, choose AMA, choose Citations, choose Copy to Clipboard, click OK, and then paste the clipboard contents into a text field. What do you see?
-
This is just for debugging. Choose Citations and Copy to Clipboard, and then paste the output in a text field.
-
Which specific AMA style, and how are you generating the citation? Can you reproduce this with right-click → Create Bibliography from Items within Zotero itself? If you've made any changes to styles, you should reset your styles from the Advanced →…

There's no such thing as needing to sync before closing the app. Again, all data is saved immediately. You're going to have to trust me on that. Your screenshot shows a new, empty data directory that's either never been used before or was recently …

There are no note tabs in the current version of Zotero. For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer.
-
Can you provide a Debug ID from Zotero for an Add Item by Identifier attempt that fails? After that, try resetting your translators from the Advanced → Files and Folders section of the Zotero settings.
