From the linked page: If you see your existing data directory in the new profile, create a new data directory manually and point the new profile to there from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero preferences.
-
In the latest beta, there's a separate Share button for non–Quick Copy citation/bib generation. (We'll be moving some of the other buttons into an overflow menu.)
-
This should be fixed now in Zotero Connector 5.0.193. Thanks.
-
Please try Zotero Connector 5.0.193.
-
It's hitting a challenge page from their AWS CDN. We'll see if there's anything we can do about it.
-
Zotero also needs to insert text at the cursor, so this doesn't really make sense. You can just Ctrl/Cmd-C and Ctrl/Cmd-V into the citation dialog.
-
@a_quinonesortiz: You should start by updating to a current version of Word. 16.89.1 is over a year old.
-
We always need an example URL for problems with saving. Make sure you have the option to download PDFs enabled in the General pane of the Zotero settings.

Yeah, it sounds like your IT person made a couple of mistakes here: 1) He shouldn't have made you a new account. 2) Export isn't a proper way to transfer a library between computers. You want to copy the original data directory from the old compu…

https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/storage_quota_and_local_storage (You just upgraded your storage, so the relevant limit was the 300 MB you were at before.)

If you're seeing that — and, more to the point, if you still see your library data when you open Zotero — you're using the same data directory and should not proceed. Creating a new profile should create a new data directory for that profile automa…

We'll be releasing a new production release soon that includes these features.

One of your plugins made an invalid change that broke syncing, but try again now.

See Files Not Syncing. Those files haven’t been uploaded to Zotero servers.

Zotero 8, currently in Zotero beta, will no longer reopen the collection and item panes at startup.

(Please start new threads for new issues — the thread you posted to was about the web library. I've moved this to a new thread.) Make the window wider. You made the window too narrow, so it switched into Stacked View automatically.

But that's a PDF URL. You said it was only saving metadata, not the PDF. This would be the opposite. PDF metadata retrieval will work for standard academic PDFs, but you shouldn't expect it to work with other random documents — anything can be saved…
-
We'd need an example URL.
-
Can you explain exactly what you're trying to do and what's happening? What's the exact message you're referring to? See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.
-
What citation style? Can you show the output you're getting?
-
That's an HTTP 403 Forbidden error from your WebDAV server. That's all we can tell you.
-
You need to go to chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments in the address bar to get to the relevant settings page in either browser.
-
@yaya615: Go to the same address and disable "Always download PDF files".
-
I provide exact instructions in the comment linked above.

See above.
