Thanks asplundj. That turned all the text into English. Very convenient ;-) (However the bug of course still remains and lurks somewhere...)
-
@asplundj: The problem with the language above is for Zotero Standalone. Is there an about:config for this somewhere?
-
Thanks adamsmith, but I did not know which component to report it in. Simon: I installed a C compiler. Your guess was correct, my system locale is actually Swedish (but where does that show up???) and my user locale is English. I am a bit …
-
Thanks Simon, I have no C compiler here so I can't check it easily. However all text is in English on my pc (except for those menu entries in Zotero ;-). Can I see this "system locale" setting somewhere? (And also if this turns out to be i…

It is definitively a bug. And as tried to explain very likely a Zotero bug. Is there anything that is not clear in my explanation? (I have been through this in a much more technical application than this.)
-
Ping! Is there anyone looking at this bug? Do you need more information?
-
:-)

I am a bit stuck here, perhaps. What I want to do is just display a formatted reference (for the item in the library) in a bookmarklet window. Maybe something totally different would be useful for me then. Would it be possible to add a field wi…

Thanks Dan, But https://api.zotero.org/users//groups gives me just "forbidden".
-
Thanks Dan and adamsmith. I can not find a way to get the groupID.
-
Unfortunately I could not get this to work: https://api.zotero.org/groups/from_some_psychologists/items/itemKey/K3QXUJQT This gives me Invalid group ID. BTW: ///groups => /users//groups on http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/server_api/read_api

Thanks Rintze.

Thanks mronkko. I guess I can do a HTTPrequest and get what I need then. But where do I find the server API documentation? (I looked under "Documentation", but I can't find it.)
-
Thanks mronkko. Maybe you are right. I have guessed the same, but I am asking to see if someone knows for sure. I have been as exact as I can be. (I am trying to fill in a bookmarklet with the values.)
-
Yes, thanks fcheslack, it gives a reasonable error message now. (And I have just setup a Google site too for the group library. ;-)
-
Yes, that fixes it. Thanks. But why didn't the "Update now" (as you suggested above) fix it? Is there a bug there?
-
I just did and I still get the error. Maybe this is not in the version I am using (see above).
-
Thanks adamsmith. I have notified them about this discussion.
-
So there is an error on that web page: the meta-tag is incorrectly used, or?
-
So it looks like the site gives this tag which Zotero is using the tag: Is this tag incorrect or? (Is there some kind of standard for those type of html meta-tags?) What information do publishers generally provide? What should they do to be able…

I have not seen problems with languages in Firefox (as I can remember at the moment). When I look a the Zotero plugin in Firefox everything is in English. Which setting are you thinking of then you say "locale ... set to Swedish"? I do hav…

Thanks adamsmith. I was not able to move the collection. (And I was very surprised it was not imported to the group. I am using 2.1.10.) Note: I tried this as an alternative way to get entries into a group library (since it was not possible to …
-
Yes, adamsmith, I know that is possible, but I think it would be totally useless in this large group. (Everyone will not contribute, but without a very good interphase for quick saving much fewer will.) Thanks for the info about JSTOR.
-
Thanks adamsmith, I was not aware of that. I will check it.
-
Thanks Simon, then I do not have to search more now ;-) Unfortunately I need this functionality to be able to suggest Zotero instead of CiteULike or Mendeley for a relatively large group of people (> 2000). When is it planned to arrive?
-
Thanks Simon, disabling the proxy support solved the problem of saving a reference to the article to Zotero. (I looked for such an option but forgot to look in Zotero settings.) (Though that makes downloading a bit more complicated. I now use O…

I just happened to add the same page two times to Zotero - and got two entries in the Zotero db. The only difference I can see right now is that the dates for "Accessed", "Date Added" and "Modified" are different. Should not that be just one en…
-
Ah, yes they do of course exist ;-) - eh, maybe there is not more to say about that... - and library links are there too... Sorry for the stupidness. But the DOI link is what I was thinking about. (I should have stayed with that.) I imagin…
-
Will this web interface allow you to go directly to the entry in Zotero if you have for example a DOI for document in the entry? And directly to an entry too? That would make it much easier to integrate things. For example you might want t…

Seems like there already are a lot of free parsers. It looks like there are some useful references here: iSpiders: Reference Parser Revived http://ispiders.blogspot.com/2010/08/reference-parser-revived.html However I do not know much…
