Thanks Gracile.
-
Thanks ajlyon and adamsmith. It works now.
-
Sorry, adamsmith, yes I should have mentioned which version I was using here. However actually I was using the FF version for the moment, but I have FF set up so I download RIS files (for the reason I mentioned) so I know nothing about the direct im…
-
@Dan: I used the clipboard import. I have no idea what the direct RIS import is. (I use to sometimes download the RIS files and open them in my favorite editor which I use as another system for storing references with my own comments. So I got the R…

Thanks. Done.
-
Just another vote. I agree that clipboard import should go into the open collection. Anything else is quite a surprise.
-
Thanks Dan, I looked at the known problems, but could not find anything about this. Importing RIS from clipboard was useful! However why is it not put directly in the library I have selected rather than in a separate folder? That seems inconsis…

Forgot: Zotero says "Save to Zotero (Blogger)". Note that the entry is on Blogspot, not Blogger.
-
Aha, thanks hplieninger.
-
Oh, I see. I saw something in App Store named Firefox (Home) and thought it was the web browser, but it is not I see now. I puzzled over that Zotero does not work with Firefox on Android. Is there something missing in Android for Zotero to work?
-
Exactly what is not possible? Is not Firefox released for iPad now? Can't this Firefox run Zotero?
-
Thanks mronko. Could you please comment on this compared to using Firefox with Zotero on iPad? Is the latter possible at all?
-
Yes, thanks, that is what I meant. Sorry for being unclear.
-
Thanks adamsmith. So ZotPad is the app for iPad.
-
Any signs of an iPad app for Zotero yet? (Any plans on porting Zandy?)
-
Thanks Dan, I will repost there to get a ticket.
-
Thanks ajlyon. I have just tried to get in contact with the maintainers.
-
Thanks adamsmith. Nice, it closed the Zotero pane in FF when I opened ZSA. :-) I hope the two code bases can be merged.
-
I thought they shared the essential code base. That is why I am surprised. So I installed Zotero 3.0b2 for FF. Does it switch automatically to non-connector mode when I close ZSA? How do I know if it is in connector mode or not?
-
BTW, what is the easiest way to switch temporary from standalone to FF? To I need to close Zotero Standalone and restart FF, or?
-
Thanks adamsmith. I am surprised that it works in FF but not in standalone. Hope Simon gets time to look into it!
-
Thanks ajlyon. I answer my last stupid question myself ;-) : Yes, you can add a link by right clicking the entry in Zotero Standalone and choose "Add Attachment - Add Link to URI". (But "Add Link to Current Page" etc does not work in Zotero Sta…
-
Thanks adamsmith, that was nice. However can I do this from Zotero Standalone?
-
I see. Thanks.
-
Thanks adamsmith. Restarting Chrome made it work. (That APA PsycNET now works saves me a lot of work :-)
-
Thanks adamsmith and ajlyon, I just updated the translators, but I get no Zotero marker in the address bar so I still can not save to Zotero. (Sorry I did not mention this before.) I am using Zotero 3.02b.1 standalone with Chrome connector.
-
Thanks ajlyon. I just contacted them and gave a link to this thread.
-
Thanks, I see. Maybe the error message could tell a bit about this.
-
Thanks adamsmith, I was not aware of that. I thought the connectors worked just as well as the FF version.
-
Thanks adamsith. When I put the cursor over the icon I see it uses "Embedded Metadata".
