  • Thanks, I updated BibTeX, but it didn't work too; it renamed the PDF attachment to %b again. I had to rename it manually from the file metadata right pane. Also, I noticed that the plugin zotxt (to keep the current file of all references) is not wor…
  • I am facing the same issue, I use the same naming rule for ZotFile `{%b}` wildcard, but it doesn't work anymore. I updated to ZotFile development version v5.1.3, but it has renamed the file to %b, so it didn't work as expected. I am on Linux; how ab…
  • @dstillman I sent the email to storage@zotero.org. Could you please care to reply? My card will expire by the end of this month. I truly appreciate your timely response.
  • @dstillman could you pls care to reply to my email to enable early charging. Thanks.
  • @dstillman, thank you for your quick response. You are right. Sorry, my bad. I just discovered that I sent the email to myself and forgot to include storage@zotero.org! I just sent the email now. Best regards.
  • I wonder what is the current solution to this particular case. Some people just want to pay subscription fees for more than a year, others, including me, discovered that they require more storage space at some point and did the upgrade instantly, th…
  • Oh, thanks, is it possible to do the same using Zotero automatic renaming?
  • The problem with RIS export/import is that it does not preserve the HTML tags in the title, which is a major issue. Is there any way to preserve the HTML tags?
  • the RIS format export is a good one, but how to do it right? I exported in ris format with notes and attachments all 1000 refs, then created a new collection to be the target, did import after doing the replacement, but ended up with duplicates, I t…
  • MarSoft, thanks, but what confused me is this tiny bit of code, because this what would show up in the settings of Zotero to choose this nice translator: "label": "BibTeX-autocite", change to: "label": "BibLaTeX-autocite", For citation key ONLY, …
  • @adamsmith, can you please mention the link to that biblatex translator of Aurimas? is there any solution in the latest version to the four issues already mentioned in a previous comment above? that would be very much appreciated.
  • @tgrossen, in general you can tweak biblatex package settings in LaTeX to hide whatever field you want from the biblatex Zotero exported database (please refer to tex.sx community for many examples), while keeping your Zotero database undeleted.
  • @anjo7539, thanks a lot for the fix, I didn't try it though, of course I will, there are other buggy issues, which are not necessarily specific to biblatex translator but for other translators as well, but you might want to fix it, that will be very…
  • @Blaight,BibLaTeX translator in its current state is very buggy, especially the date field, I don't recommend using it, instead you can use the bibtex translators (which are fortunately readable by Biblatex), but if you really want to do this using …
  • @simifilm, biblatex package works well with bibtex format (I didn't experience a problem yet), the nice thing about biblatex you can customize styles as you wish from the bibtex format, whereas the biblatex translator of Zotero now is very buggy (th…
  • @aurimas and @adamsmith, can you please include these feature requests in the next release of the Zotero, regarding the BibTex export, these features are metioned in this weblink: http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/114297/tweaking-of-biblatex-s…
  • I use biber backend program, not Bibtex, I meant the bibtex file format after being exported from Zotero, please look at this workflow of bibliography citation in LaTeX using Zotero + biblatex package + biber backend + text editor http://tex.stackex…
  • Ok, on rare cases in LaTeX, when the style of the bibliography is in italics, species names should stand out from other text. Another feature: please can you assign a dedicated shortcut key to the BibTex translator to copy the citation key only of …
  • When I export to BibTex, I found the Rich Text Formatting useful to render some species names in the title italicized, this will be parsed by BibTex into \textit{}, but I found this bug: when I mark up two italic words in the same title, the first o…

  • @anjo7539, I used the biblatex translator but I found that the date field is inconsistent after translation, whereas that of BibTex Tan -revised by Robin was consistent. Can you please fix that field and don't you think changing its name to year =, …
