They said they have been working on it: https://github.com/zotero/zotero-ios/pull/836

Using Zotero 7.0.11 on a Mac (Sequoia 15.2), that file (from poettli's link) opens and displays just fine in Zotero's pdf viewer in my hands. It also opens fine in current Firefox and Firefox 115esr, which (I think) Zotero is currently based on, an…

Zotfile has been replaced by two new plugins, zotmoov and attanger. Some of zotfile's file naming abilities have been added to stock Zotero, so that also helps. There was some work done to update zutilo for 7 (https://github.com/wshanks/Zutilo/issu…

Go to https://www.zotero.org/download/ and click on Other Versions arrow under Installation help to reveal version 6. Just download and install that. That won't effect your data folder, only the application will be replaced. But, before you do that…

Are you using up-to-date Zotero 7, or a much older version?
-
If this is an open-membership public group, those do not allow file sharing (but items/data will be sync). https://www.zotero.org/support/groups#public_open_membership

Zotero does collect DOIs whenever they are available. Any reasonable database or academic journal website would include them, and the Zotero Connector would save them in the item's metadata. How do you add items to your Zotero library?
-
For NIH grants, why not use "National Library of Medicine (grant proposals with PMCID/PMID)": https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=national-library-of-medicine-grant-proposals

You can use the Zotero Actions and Tags plugin for this, as here: https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-actions-tags/discussions/261 It may be tricky to use this plugin if you've never done so, so read/ask if needed on that github page (or here).

That was a while ago, but I remember that Zotero used to have a blue dot to indicate that there is an attachment of some sort. In current Zotero, you have something better. Just right-click on the top row (where it says Title, Creator, Date, etc.),…

You can't keep your database on a cloud folder. That's a quick one-way street to database corruption. Explained here: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/data_directory_in_cloud_storage_folder You can, however, keep your storage folder on a cloud fo…

Sorry, from the description in the OP, it sounded like the Sorting menu did not pull down. It does, but the changing the order there does not change the sorting order. The bug is also there in 7.0.11beta3, and mjthoraval's workaround works regardles…

That's weird, and definitely not what I see on https://www.zotero.org/download/ But to help you right now, directly try this link: https://www.zotero.org/download/client/dl?channel=release&platform=mac or you can download the app from another…

Are you sure this problem still exists? On my Mac, that setting is changeable in version 7.0.10. Make sure you update Zotero. Also, the config editor workaround mentioned by mjthoraval would work on Mac, Windows and linux. (You can access the confi…

That's not a report ID. You should hit OK after seeing this (so the report is sent), and copy the actual report ID number and paste it here (so that Zotero people can find the report).
-
For force-syncing on the mobile apps, you scroll to the top of the item list, and pull down on the items list. Syncing should happen automatically, though. If it does not, you should report it here.

(People often add items to their library from Pubmed using Pubmed's nbib downloads, not directly via the connector. Zotero uses the word "import" for that activity. You had not mentioned the connector.) When I save from Pubmed using the connector, …
-
How are you saving these items into your library? Depending on whether you use the connector in the browser, or if you import from a downloaded file (like nbib or RIS), you may get a different treatment of automatic tags. When possible (i.e. not ad…

I think you need to empty the trash in Zotero for the second copy from group to personal library to work. The items in the Trash may not let you do the transfer of the same (updated) item.
-
That's a web browser you are looking at, and you are viewing your web library in that browser. That is not the Zotero app, so you won't get the same context menu you'd get in the Zotero app. And the settings you are looking at are the Connector's se…

This was a discussion I had on the same matter a while ago: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/91088/using-groups-for-collaborative-writing The choices are, (1) use a group library, so you don't have to import anything. But that's not absolutel…

Zotero does not save annotations in the pdf file (for reasons explained here): https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/annotations_in_database You can export a (new) pdf file with Zotero annotations written to it easily. Annotations created with a diffe…

Sorry, 7.0.10 is not released yet. You are up-to-date now.
-
(Also upgrade to 7.10. Your version, 7.0.1 is three months old, and there have been many improvements since then. I am also not sure how you could find an old version to install. https://www.zotero.org/support/changelog)
-
No problem. When you upgrade from Zotero 6 to 7, all this should just carry over automatically. I am curious why that did not happen. You can always install a new version of Zotero, overwriting the old version of the app, but unless you found and d…

Because you need to sign in first using your Zotero account. WebDAV *only* syncs files, not your data. That was only and always done via Zotero, using your Zotero account. Once you sign in, then file syncing options (via Zotero or WebDAV) will appe…

No it does, as below: https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u5124/jzjguem533qkyqtbblcn.png https://www.zotero.org/support/sync#webdav
-
Zotero 7 has webdav (same for Zotero on iOS). If you are having trouble making it work, please explain what you have tried.

I see this on a MacBook Pro trackpad using Sequoia 15.1. I only see it if I two-finger tap, not two-finger click. Two-finger tap is supposed to bring up options/context menus for *selected* items (as far as I understand), so while this is a bit un…

I wanted to bump this. I seem to be gathering more and more preprints on Pubmed, and having the connector recognize preprints would be great.
