That's not a report ID. You should hit OK after seeing this (so the report is sent), and copy the actual report ID number and paste it here (so that Zotero people can find the report).
-
For force-syncing on the mobile apps, you scroll to the top of the item list, and pull down on the items list. Syncing should happen automatically, though. If it does not, you should report it here.

(People often add items to their library from Pubmed using Pubmed's nbib downloads, not directly via the connector. Zotero uses the word "import" for that activity. You had not mentioned the connector.) When I save from Pubmed using the connector, …
-
How are you saving these items into your library? Depending on whether you use the connector in the browser, or if you import from a downloaded file (like nbib or RIS), you may get a different treatment of automatic tags. When possible (i.e. not ad…

I think you need to empty the trash in Zotero for the second copy from group to personal library to work. The items in the Trash may not let you do the transfer of the same (updated) item.

That's a web browser you are looking at, and you are viewing your web library in that browser. That is not the Zotero app, so you won't get the same context menu you'd get in the Zotero app. And the settings you are looking at are the Connector's se…

This was a discussion I had on the same matter a while ago: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/91088/using-groups-for-collaborative-writing The choices are, (1) use a group library, so you don't have to import anything. But that's not absolutel…

Zotero does not save annotations in the pdf file (for reasons explained here): https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/annotations_in_database You can export a (new) pdf file with Zotero annotations written to it easily. Annotations created with a diffe…

Sorry, 7.0.10 is not released yet. You are up-to-date now.
-
(Also upgrade to 7.10. Your version, 7.0.1 is three months old, and there have been many improvements since then. I am also not sure how you could find an old version to install. https://www.zotero.org/support/changelog)
-
No problem. When you upgrade from Zotero 6 to 7, all this should just carry over automatically. I am curious why that did not happen. You can always install a new version of Zotero, overwriting the old version of the app, but unless you found and d…

Because you need to sign in first using your Zotero account. WebDAV *only* syncs files, not your data. That was only and always done via Zotero, using your Zotero account. Once you sign in, then file syncing options (via Zotero or WebDAV) will appe…

No it does, as below: https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u5124/jzjguem533qkyqtbblcn.png https://www.zotero.org/support/sync#webdav

Zotero 7 has webdav (same for Zotero on iOS). If you are having trouble making it work, please explain what you have tried.

I see this on a MacBook Pro trackpad using Sequoia 15.1. I only see it if I two-finger tap, not two-finger click. Two-finger tap is supposed to bring up options/context menus for *selected* items (as far as I understand), so while this is a bit un…

I wanted to bump this. I seem to be gathering more and more preprints on Pubmed, and having the connector recognize preprints would be great.

@dadvar Just hover your name on this page with the mouse, and you can see what your user id is (usually at the bottom of your browser as the link): https://forums.zotero.org/profile/9676260/dadvar It is 9676260. Or just click on it, and it will be…

That was not a backup (it was an export), and CSV is not a recommended format. https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#backing_up_your_zotero_data If you still have access to the old computer, I would suggest you do a proper backup, as explaine…

Hangi stili kullaniyorsunuz? Dokümanın sonuna gidip (ama dipnotta değil, ana metin içinde/altında), Zotero sekmesindeki Kaynakça Ekle'ye bastınız mı? Kaynağı, dipnottaki metni imlece alıp zotero dipnot atamayla yenilemek istendiğinde “Bir Zotero al…

It did for that one, but previously it's not with any consistency though, the only emails I have about forums posts are from your comment, ones on Sept 15th, Aug 24th May 1st... My guess is you received the first email, but did not visit the threa…

(I don't know if that is a bug or not, but I like this behavior as I *sometimes* want to delete one specific item, rather than merging, and it helps with visualizing the data for the specific item as I navigate via arrow keys. Getting back to "merge…

Any chance you are looking for an item under a subcollection? The default is that you do not see hits from a subcollection under your selected collection (that's my preference, often). If you want subcollection hits to show, go to the top menu, and…

Developers had indicated that they want to add this functionality in the future (from when "Omit author" was still called "Suppress author"). https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/93797/beta-suppress-author-not-working-in-the-new-note-editor#latest …

Those instructions say this: 3. Once you see your restored data, were you to sync again, the more recent data in the online library would replace the data you just restored, and you'll need to take steps to prevent that: and go on to explain what yo…

When using the connector on Pubmed, Zotero grabs full-text pdfs (and not the Pubmed Central pdfs) regularly. At least with the types of literature I save, maybe most of the time. For example, I just saved a Science Advances item from Pubmed, and the…

I can't see clearly how this is useful, but if you really want to re-save a web page without using Zotero's browser extensions, you can install the SingleFile plugin, save the web page as a single file, and drop it on your item. SingleFile is what Z…

What citation style are you using? If it is IEEE, their style changed a while ago, and Zotero now correctly cites them as [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] rather than the old [1-5]. https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/117301/default-ieee-style-multiple-cit…

@josephatkinson In my opinion, by every measure, Zotero 7 is a big improvement over 6. And seeing attachment descriptions instead of filenames makes sense to me. At some point, Zotero 6 will not work and won't be safe to use.
-
Zotero places the citation wherever you put it - inside the sentence or outside. With author-date style citations, I have not seen full-stops inside the parentheses. For example, https://writing.wisc.edu/handbook/documentation/docchicago/author-dat…

Right-click on the attachment in the center pane and choose Create Parent Item. If you know an identifier (like a DOI) for the item, you can manually paste it in the next window that pops up. If not, choose Manual Entry and manually enter data in th…
