@martynas_b - just checking you've seen my screenshots link above? I'm happy to help with determining the cause if I can.

One way I have found to recover from this situation is to use the Tab key to move through the various controls until I return to one of the ones that has disappeared at the top - this causes them all to scroll back into position.
-
This problem still seems to be present in 6.0.10

@martynas_b Sure, here you go: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/163C-NRZ1n05rNsGG0JAoE7Q7oa6Lu46j

Yes all the new profiles are showing my data. They are all using the default data directory, C:\Users\john\Zotero. It appears that they have not created a new data directory when I created a new profile. The length of the note is not especially imp…

@dstillman thanks for pointing me over here, I'd not been able to select the right search terms to find it. Report ID: 1800992990 Zotero 6.0.8 (and it's the same on 6.0.9) on Windows 11 I created a new profile. I expected the library to be empty, …

Thanks @bwiernik. I would like distinct authors to be visible in the reference itself rather than in a year-suffix (which must be looked up in the bibliography) so what I might end up doing is adding a ##suffix## to the givenname name-part, which I …

Does this answer my question? return ret.join(" "); https://github.com/Juris-M/citeproc-js/blob/aa2683f48fe23be459f4ed3be3960e2bb56203f0/src/util_names.js#L254

@haraldaa, the book reviews code has now been accepted, so should propagate through to your machine in the coming days.
-
@dstark @haraldaa I've had a go at putting together a pull request for book reviews https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/5613 (I'm not very experienced with github, so just shout if I've got something wrong!) @dstark I could not …

Thanks for the response. The reason to highlight matches on info tab is so the user can see at a glance if the search terms are in title, abstract, etc. It's not always easy to spot if the match is on there, or in tags tab, or elsewhere (attachments…
-
If I have understood this request properly, I'd like to add a +1 upvote here. It would be very useful when using the main search facility to highlight the matched terms: 1) In the item list pane 2) In the item info tab (and other tabs) 3) In the not…

I can confirm that this is no longer triggering a warning on my computer either. Seems like Defender update has sorted it.
-
My offer to assist in any way still stands, but I need dev input to tell me what info they need... I'm happy to attempt a report to MS as a false positive, but I have not been able to capture the problematic file so I can report it.
-
@haraldaa that discussion is underway here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/73704/sblhs-citation-style-for-electronic-journals-with-individually-paginated-articles

@bwiernik I've had a quick look through their journal from the last 5 years, but couldn't find any examples meeting the quite narrow criteria. I did note in the SBL Handbook that they make omitting digits optional: "the last number may be abbreviat…

I've just shared a debug log of updating the problematic reference with Windows Security blocking the first attempt, and then with Windows Security protection suppressed, allowing the second attempt. Zotero Debug ID D1462121944 I've been able to re…

This document contains a lengthy discussion of the exploit, which may provide some insight into why Zotero is triggering this: https://www.sophos.com/en-us/medialibrary/PDFs/technical papers/CVE-2012-0158-An-Anatomy-of-a-Prolific-Exploit.PDF

I just experienced this too. Does anyone know if there is any way to grab a copy of the offending file for analysis? @dstillman, I'd happily use the MS reporting tool for false positives if you could help me secure a copy of the file https://docs.mi…

@haraldaa Your book review code looks fairly close, but some needs to be added to the title-short macro too (for the reviewed-author surnames). Unfortunately I don't have time to pursue this right now.
-
@haraldaa I have created a pull request to deal with the lack of period between editor and translator in the two SBL styles: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/4906
-
I've just added a pull request to add disambiguation options https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/4895

Thanks! I was worried this thread had gone silent, but the wonderful work was going on behind the scenes. Many thanks.

PS I should have said, it's version 5.0.17 I'm using

Yes, I see that balance. I was wanting to do a quick sum of how many pages I'd read, so having them all visible in a list would make that a bit easier. Purely for my own sense of satisfaction! I don't consider it an urgent or important feature reque…
-
Ok, thanks. I guess that means there's no way to show the # of Pages field in the columns.
-
I've just submitted a proposed fix for point #2 that you've raised: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/2326/files

I see what you mean. I believe that this is a change of behaviour since earlier versions of Zotero since I have used Dictionary Entries for a long time and only just spotted this issue. It also doesn't explain why I have had such problems controllin…

CMos gives me these outputs in the testpane (note the lack of page numbers for the 'Opponents of Paul' dictionary entry): Single Citations Paul Barnett, ‘Opposition in Corinth’, JSNT 22 (1984): 3–17. Paul Barnett, ‘Opponents of Paul’, ed…
