Great, thank you!

In 7.0.0-beta.52+2f8e536f2 the jumping problem seems to be fixed - thank you! It is still not possible to navigate to logical page numbers by entering them in the page number field, however, and the wrong page numbers are still displayed when scrol…

I've found another unusual case; when annotating in this PDF (https://doi.org/10.1017/9781316338902.005), the annotations are numbered according to the physical numbers (1, 2, 3) even though in the navigation bar, the correctly determined logical pa…

I've also noticed that the translator has some problems with books' subtitles (i.e. it doesn't include them). The root of the problem might be DeGruyters data though; the .bib export includes the subtitle as two separate titles like this: booktitle…

But that's what I mean: the title bar (I assume that's what you refer to) gives you the name of the app (Zotero) and the current view (My Library). That's what other applications also do (Thunderbird - My Mailbox, Firefox - Current Tab). Firefox als…

I guess it doesn't say that the Desktop App is your library, because it isn't. Your assumption that the two are the same seems to be the source of some confusion. Your library refers to your texts, notes etc., whereas "Desktop App" refers to the so…

Yes, I've tested both versions with the same pdf. Zotero shouldn't need to extract page labels for the PDF, because it has correct embedded page labels. The PDF in the video is from here (https://marx-wirklich-studieren.net/marx-engels-werke-als-pd…

I can import the article via the Zotero Connector in Firefox, maybe that's an option for you too?

Maybe my description wasn't so good (sorry!), but to me it seems that the beta's behaviour is not intended. The wrong (=physical) page number updates as long as I'm dragging the scroll bar, which is somewhat confusing when trying to scroll to a spec…
-
I've also found that when scrolling quickly through a document by dragging the scroll bar on the right, it takes a few seconds for the page numbers to "catch up" - while and after dragging, the physical page number is displayed. Only after scrolling…

Thank you, that's a good workaround!

I think maybe a toogle to "use PDF page labels for page numbers" would be helpful (maybe instead of "automatically detect page numbers", which does not seem to do anything at the moment?). That would also be helpful to reset page numbers that were c…

I've played around a bit more and guess my theory about it being the last annotation is wrong. However the pop-up also opens on the second screen if there's more than enough space on the primary screen (see https://i.imgur.com/MxHApy8.png - the acti…

I've trying to observe the problem a bit more carefully now and think it only occurs when adding an annotation to the last annotation in a pdf - for the first of two or more annotations the pop-up opens in the right position.
-
No, those open where they're supposed to.

I would also greatly appreciate a fix for this issue!

Thank you for your reply and the information about the update! Before the update there were 2 sync issues, now there's only one. The Debug-ID is D1543846909. The issue of not being able to view the debug log persists. And a small side note: the i…

I would like to support the request that the split view remembers the page position - I usually open it to check the notes or references and in longer books it would be quite helpful if I didn't have to scroll a few hundred pages every time I do tha…

Perfect, thank you!

I'm on version 7.0.0-beta.44+64a78412c (64-bit) on Linux and do not have any plugins installed. The problem occurs every time I follow the steps outlined above.

At least for me (on the current beta) the page labels in the navigation bar are still quite broken; while Zotero display the proper custom page numbers in the navigation bar, manually entering a page number and clicking enter brings me to the file p…

There's an add-on that can do that. You can find some discussion about it here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/103205/is-it-possible-to-extract-references-from-article-pdfs-webpage

I just sent you an e-mail. I have no plugins enabled.

In 7.0.0-beta.42+2db19ad4c the problem does not appear to be fully fixed. While I've not noticed Zotero pulling together words, the beta is still not as good at removing hyphens as version 6 was. In this screenshot (https://i.imgur.com/bH8RI88.png…

I just wanted to report that in the current Zotero 7 Beta, problem b) still remains. I can highlight text spanning two columns, but the annotation list will be wrongly sorted (https://i.imgur.com/1EkTHu8.png - the PDF in question is https://doi.org/…

After some years I've finally found a nice solution for the problem: In about:config set browser.download.open_pdf_attachments_inline to true. Afterwards Firefox will not clutter the Download folder with pdfs and importing pdfs into Zoero is a bit e…

The problem seems to be fixed in the newest beta - thank you very much!
-
I guess that is probably a related problem, but I've noticed that after changing an annotation's colour it often takes me three or four attempts to be able to drag it somewhere.

Perfect, thank you!
