Hi Dan, The Debug ID for the computer with FF Zotero 3.0b2 is D737591305. The Debug ID for the other computer I have with Firefox Zotero 2.1.10 is D70290229. I am getting errors on both computers when I try to verify link, but I think that it mi…

On a new computer of mine, I have installed the latest Zotero FF beta. I am having the same problem with box.net, and I have plenty of free storage. My other computer has Zotero FF 2.1.10. When clicking "verify box.net webdav" I get the same message…

Do either of you have updates on this? I'm setting Zotero up on a new computer and am getting this error. Is syncing still working for you? Thanks!
-
Has this made it into Zotero yet? If not, how can I know when it does? Thanks!
-
I tried restarting FF and then it worked.
-
And I'm guessing that I can't check online whether or not this one will be pushed to clients in a translator update? I'll just have to check with Dan?
-
Oh great, thanks ajlyon! Here's a semi-related question: so you made a change and it's now waiting to be merged into the main branch and added to a release. How could I check to see if your change was a) merged into the main branch and then b) added…

Sounds good. MAYBE a developer will fix or eliminate the translator some day, but in the meantime, do you know how I could remove the Hindawi translator from my computer? Thanks!
-
What's DOI?
-
Hi, thanks everyone. Stilllman, I'm guessing that you're referring to my other post today where I listed the url and report id. I was simply trying to follow Zotero's directions for reporting a translator bug. I thought this thread was being ignore…
-
So this was first reported 18 months ago and looks like it STILL hasn't been fixed? Does anyone know how to report bugs like this to the developers? Apparently this forum isn't effective at doing so.
-
It worked! Thanks, zxie! Hopefully they'll be able to incorporate these changes into the official build soon...
-
It looks like the IEEE translator hasn't been updated yet since I'm still getting errors. Anyone know when this might be happening?
-
Just got it and tried it out. There's one problem that still hasn't been fixed. Multiple citations such as [14-15] should be formatted at [14]-[15]. Would you be able to fix this? Thanks for all your help. A couple other awesome features would be t…

I looked for an IEEE one updated 2010-02-06, but I didn't see it. What's it called? And once I find it, do I just need to click on the "install" link in Firefox and it'll do the rest?
-
It doesn't look like these changes have been added to the release versions yet. What's the easiest way for me to get the dev version of the csl to get the correct IEEE formatting? Also, any idea when these will be included in an update? It's been se…

For the pdf associated with the reference above, I clicked "rename file from parent metadata". It looked like it renamed the pdf file, but didn't update the name or the path in zotero. So in Zotero it looked like the file hadn't been renamed but had…

... and when I restart FF, the error's back! Another Error ID is 849656878. When I restart FF the names revert in Zotero so that it's pointing to a non-existent file.
-
I found out the problem. For some reason, when Zotero renamed the file to match the metadata, the file was actually renamed but the change wasn't reflected in Zotero. So the old name file didn't exist anymore so it had to be deleted from zotero, and…

I just tried almost a dozen themes and none of them worked. It be great if Zotero could fix this (if it's even possible), but I'll revert to the default theme for now.
-
Problem solved! Will all themes cause this? Is this more of an issue with Zotero, FF, or the theme author?
-
I'd take any method of getting Zotero to work in Chrome. FF is getting so slow (it could just be my add-ons) and taking up ridiculous amounts of memory that I'd really rather use Chrome. Hopefully Zotero will soon become untethered to FF.
-
Update: these errors are still present in the latest version, 2.0b7.
-
I found that more ASA items have the same error, such as http://scitation.aip.org/getabs/servlet/GetabsServlet?prog=normal&id=JASMAN000125000004002638000003&idtype=cvips&gifs=yes So it's definitely not a one-time fluke.

I have Word 2007 (Win), and even changing the normal template won't fix this problem. Has anyone solved this yet? Do we know when the bug should be fixed in Zotero?
-
Oh, I thought you were referring to kjsphoto. Sorry, my bad.
-
"Would it be possible to put a "backup" option in the menu somewhere? Obviously there is an export... and sure - that does it too... but I mean a utility that would copy your entire zotero folder - files, translators, everything - and maybe create a…
-
Hi kjsphoto, you're not the only "dire, uninformed" user out there. I had also incorrectly assumed that the zotero sync would sync attachments.
-
Yes, it's true that I assumed that it would sync the files and store them on their servers, and I didn't read enough of the documentation to know that wasn't the case. I guess I've started to think too quickly that cloud storage has become ubiquitou…

I did 4 things, and now the problem is fixed: 1. I uninstalled Zotero 1.5 2. I installed the latest 1.x version 3. I added a citation (bib list was previously empty) 4. I installed Zotero 1.5 Now it works. I'm not sure if it was step 2 or 3 that f…
