  • Ok. This question should apply to the MLZ and to the regular zotero version. I've been working on my own version of a style on my own repository for a while. If I just copy my version over top of the MLZ/Zotero distribution channel, the pull request…
  • I'm working with the MLZ version, but I just found fbennet's repository, so I'll do the pulls there.
  • I can do that. Is this the MLZ version of the McGill Guide on the github directory?
  • Fixed it. I've been correcting the McGill Guide CSL for a little while now — I have it up on my own github, but people might be interested in it. Is there a place I can let people know where to find it? FYI the code was: …
  • Right. Per the CSL specification, "A cite is ambiguous when it matches multiple bibliographic entries." Does that mean that will only return "true" if entries match each other exactly within the Zotero database? Or only if, per the citation rules, …
  • FYI, I fixed the problem by mucking around in EndNote's style manager. I changed it to recognize T2 as Editor. This should probably go in the FAQ, as I'm sure others are having this problem as well, and it's not Zotero's fault.
  • Well, I'd give it a try and see. To be fair, I mixed and matched A2 and ED within the same "secondary author" field. If I have the time I'll try seeing what happens if you only have EDs. In the meantime, it would be nice to at least map "ED" to edit…
  • Cool. I tried slightly modifying the Zotero RIS files by changing only one instance of A2 to ED and found that EndNote choked completely and didn't grab any of the authors. It seems like EndNote wants RIS files to be consistent in their styles, and…
  • Forking the thread a little, I'd like to point out that while I'm mostly very happy with Z, it's attachment to FF leaves a lot to be desired. It can be rather slow, and it uses a lot of screen real estate, but most fundamentally my feeling is that i…
  • That's a great resource! I was able to fool around with the CSL and create my own variant that uses headline case for titles. Being able to edit CSLs in real-time, even like this, probably deserves mention in a future version of the FAQ. I'm having…
  • Interesting. I'd still like to know about the logic of the choice. While this might be a problem for people using foreign language titles, my inclination would have been to go with title case given that the initial majority of Zotero users are Engli…
  • I've commented on this as well. There is an inconstistency in tab and return behavior when users are manually entering author information. It is a rather serious UI/Interface bug. See Inconsistent "return key/tab" behavior
