Can you be more specific? That page explains WHY this issue happens and therefore also how to prevent it from happening. Did you try this in a fresh document? Which Word Processor are you using?

Please avoid using all caps, as it can be interpreted as shouting. Are those items that don't allow you to create a bibliography entry pdfs? If so, right click, create parent item, review the metadata and then you'll be able to do what you want.

I assume you use "Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (full note)". In the Visual Editor click on the "Layout" underneaht "INLINE CITATIONS". Open the conditional and remove the complete "box" that reads "else-If subsequent".
