Issue 1: The style already does that. See line 348 where the et-al settings are set. Issue 2: In line 127, add font-style="italic". Please read this first and make the adjustments to ID, self link etc. as outlined in order for your new custom styl…

I'm assuming you are talking about the style "University of Brighton School of Environment & Technology - Harvard". Can you link to the most recent guidelines, please?

Thanks poettli for the link and for looking into it. I've fixed issue #1. Issue #2 with the dot after the container title, is a non-issue. The dot is only added for abbreviated titles. It's not a typical prefix/suffix, so wouldn't appear. I am not …

Is the "Smith" author the exact same or are the initials different? This just works out of the box for me with the style fresh from the repository.: https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u452233/hmp681r6wvg7qogfk7x2.png

Line ~208: Change to:

Have you identified a citation style that generally fits, minus the sorting? Easier for us to give you guidance how to adapt the citation style. For which publication is this anyway? Maybe it makes sense for us to make a custom style.

Zeile 49 so umändern: Die Anleitung genau befolgen, sonst klappt's nicht: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step

A new version of our IEEE style with many a fix has just been released.

Thanks, poettli! What are the issues, HAN? This journal's style, as an Elsevier journal, uses the elsevier-harvard.csl style as a dependent style (that's why you couldn't edit it). Going by a current publication and our style, I don't see any issu…

The citation style will deal with that..just make sure that you have two-field mode on and that the family name is in the right field and the first name(s) in the other, either short or full. Zotero will do the abbreviation for you. You can always t…

Most likely this: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/existing_citations_not_detected

Yes, just change the citation style under "Document Preferences". Make sure to have the footnotes NOT as endnotes.

Potentially you'll need to add HTML breaks? E.g.:

"Estilo de presentación de la bibliografía: Se usarán los nombres abreviados de publicaciones, escritos en letra cursiva, de acuerdo al listado en MEDLINE/PubMed (www.ncbi.nlmnih.gov/nlmcatalog/journals)" https://www.medicinabuenosaires.com/ El es…

I have implemented your request and you can try it out. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/f501356ae83ac1352b3997db74d943146eeab4f6/ieee.csl

You can start with this guide: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step Also there is a good video on YouTube that shows how to edit styles. You can then ask here for specific problems you run into.
-
Again, you also have to figure out why it happened in the first place. What file format is your document in?
-
For what journal/university is this style? Or just a personal preference?
-
It looks like you flattened your citations. Have a read of this for potential causes: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/existing_citations_not_detected

Der Stil ist jetzt hier erhältlich: Zitierstil Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft HTW Berlin für Zotero

Flattened citations are just text. There is no way to extract anything or "reactivate" these citations. The only tool that can help a bit, if you don't already have those items in your library, is this tool. Paste the bibliographic entries and it'l…

You might activated the "Include URLs for journal articles in Zotero in the Cite pane of the settings.

You might activated the "Include URLs for journal articles in Zotero in the Cite pane of the dettings. Do you need to exactly use this style? There is plenty of numeric styles out there without that. Are you submitting to a specific journal?
-
Click on where it currently says "Document" and switch the item type to report.
-
Yes, you'll need to edit the citation style. Open the style, search for "disambiguate-add-year-suffix="true"" and delete it completely. Follow this guide and change the title etc. As explained. https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/st…

If you have duplicate (i.e. identical) entries then you should merge those items within your Zotero library. Refreshing the document will then also remove the duplicated items in your citations/bibliography.
-
I've logged your request. You can use the style "Chemical and Pharmaceutical Bulletin" in the meantime.
