If you switch to APA they also stay the way there were? If so, make sure they are active citation. If not something is going on with your document. See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/existing_citations_not_detected
-
Can you link to the he guidelines and a recent open access paper? Then we make this change way faster
-
You've tried this? https://editor.citationstyles.org/searchByExample/
-
You can also search for them in your browser. With Zotero open they will open just as well. https://www.zotero.org/styles
-
Which style exactly are you using? But make sure you have this option checked: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/journal_abbreviations

I had asked for a link. Hard to tell as there are two journals with that name. https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/aquaculture https://www.mdpi.com/journal/aquacj

I just installed this (using Zotero7beta) and it works fine for me. You can always just write html tags like so: The best plant is Monstera deliciosa
-
Does the journal just say "use Vancouver" or do they have specific guidelines beyond that? If you give us the name and a link to their guidelines it's easier for us to give advice.
-
There will be dozens of styles that match that. https://editor.citationstyles.org/searchByExample/ Is this for a particular journal?

See this: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/existing_citations_not_detected

Thank you for reporting the errors. They are very hard to follow though. It would be easier if you list them like: #x: book chapters current style required style description 1) fixed 2) -- 3) -- 4) Their guidelines show two different examples with …

IEEE rules changed recently, and so did the IEEE style in Zotero. See https://journals.ieeeauthorcenter.ieee.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/IEEE_Reference_Guide.pdf Reference ranges in text will not include an en dash. All references will be written…

The headlines you cannot achieve. That could be done at the very end after making a copy (!) of your file, then unlinking the citations (irreversible) and then just manually writing the headlines. To get type sorting, add this macro: …

Genau.

Get in touch via citationstyler@gmail.com, ideally with a link to this thread. :)

yeah, please send me the document, ideally the whole thing, not just chapters, to citationstyler@gmail.com

Open the style, in the first line you will find "default-locale="en-US"". Change that to en-GB. Guide: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step
-
Is there public guidelines for this now? I've looked into it and while I can make the changes it opens up some questions.
-
Are you sure that you have the author-date set under Document Preferences in the Zotero tab in Word? It looks like you have the full-note style selected.
-
I'm not exactly sure what you want to achieve, but I think if you have "My Library" selected and press Ctrl+A you can select literally all entries in your library and then right click, do the "Create Bibliography from items...".
-
There is also this plugin that adds shortcuts so you don't have to type all the html tags: https://github.com/northword/zotero-format-metadata

(PR: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/6889)

That is citation style dependent and will be added automatically for you. See this guide how to add pages and locators: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage

Hat deine Uni bestimmte Richtlinien? Wie heißt die Uni und Studiengang? "Deutscher Fußnotenstil" heißt nicht viel. Siehe hierzu: https://citationstyler.com/literaturrecherche-und-zitieren-mit-zotero-nach-der-deutschen-zitierweise/

Which style? The author is indeed entered as an author and not editor or the like?
