No, the "normal" view also has that. It's a very basic functionality. Your second question is most likely a citation style question. You'd need to modify that. Which style are you using?

Right, I had an inkling it's something like that. You know about the "omit author" functionality? https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage That does that for you. Your citations stay integrated and updatable that way.
