Have a look at my post. We'd need the exact examples and all other requested details to make a style. It won't take more than 5 minutes.

2. You need to change the self link and ID so Zotero knows it's a different style. 1. Share your code via pastebin.com and we can actually see what's going on and give specific help.

Ersetz den "bibliography" Teil hiermit, dann klappt's auch mit'm Nachbarn. Die Einzüge musst du dann noch in Word anpassen. …

You can't have 2 "name" in a "names". Delete the 2nd one.

As it's a dependent style it only shows when it was created. The underlying parent style, springer-vancouver-brackets was last updated in 2023. Do you have reason to believe that the style is not correct? If so, what are the differences?

Thanks. I've submitted a PR: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/7016

It's always easier for us to help if you told us which style you used or share your current custom style. But if your author macro (or author section) looks like this... you'd want to adapt it like so. …

Can you link to the current guidelines and also list out the required in a number list in the format of current output vs required output? then we can make the changes a lot faster.
-
You can use the Word "Auto Format" functionality to make hyperlinks active. Note though that this is something related to Word, not Zotero itself.

The citations are duplicated INSIDE the document somewhere. If this is Word, toggling Word field codes can help you find them. You'll want to delete all the existing citations for this source and replace them with citations from the same item in you…

I have just created a new style to reflect the publisher change. Guidelines are very much non-existent and papers only show journal articles. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/397f4fbea6d15e6ce7f4ad653918ec207ab458bd/health-and-…

That's bad advice. We can create a custom style for that journal. Many journals say they follow style X and then make modifications, rendering it actually NOT being X.... However, I cannot access any of the papers. I'd need a real typeset paper as a…

Which journal? Can you link the guidelines?

The changes I had to make to the style were very minor, so whatever you did in the last version should just work. But I assume you made a small error somewhere. Run it through https://validator.citationstyles.org/ otherwise share your code via Paste…

Thank you for reporting the new version. I have submitted a PR. Can you give this a test ride? https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/0426a04c05d3f6a175be93b576ab4e263d8d06d0/modern-humanities-research-association.csl

We will need the exact examples adapted to the style and more details as explained here: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Requesting-Styles

I saw that there is a style availabe here: Citation style for Arden University for Zotero

Ja. Das ist mein Shop. Wobei mittlerweile auf einer eigenen Domain: Übersicht der FOM Hochschule Zitierstile Fragen dazu bitte per E-Mail, weil ich so besseren Support geben kann. :) citationstyler@gmail.com

Sorry, I forgot to send this link along: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step You can use this: https://editor.citationstyles.org/codeEditor/

I have logged your request. You can use the style "Journal of Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines" in the meantime.
-
Add this to the English locale section. That means, add this after line 44. Download on This basically redefines retrieved to download on.

If you tell us which citation style you're using we can help you better.
-
That's just a Word setting that you change yourself. Has nothing to do with our citation style.
-
While you made a great effort, I fixed many issues with the style and have now opened a PR to add it to the repository so other users can also use this style. I invite you to use this style instead as it will be more robust. https://github.com/cita…

As they mention in their guidelines, that's Vancouver. https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:vancouver-brackets (PR: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/7001)

Take a numeric style. You'll see a part that has "citation" >> layout. Within that it calls: . Replace that with . https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step Depending on the style you use you might need to…

I have tried everything that I read online or watched on YouTube for changing the citation style. I assumed it works like RefWork meaning when you choose to change the style, it will change the (in-text) citation as well as bibliography. is that cor…

For the first problem, the style has no "text-casing" set. Although I don't fully understand the problem here. Maybe somebody else can chime in. 2nd problem should be fixed with this. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/8f38f18efe…

Nein. Auf den wenigen Details kann man dahingehend keine Aussage machen. Schau dir die deutschen Fußnotenstile an. Da findest du sicher was dabei. https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=deutsch&format=note&dependent=0

The language of a document's citation style is set in Word > Zotero > Document Preferences. (and not in Zotero itself)
