See https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requesting-csl-styles Please add the missing information.

That's dependent on the citation style. Os this an error in a given style?
-
In a nutshell "It's a Word setting".
-
You may have some stray citations left in the document. Turn on Field Codes, look for the citations and delete anything left over. See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/word_field_codes
-

-
Is this for a specific uni? Are there guidelines available?
-
I think you should be able to use the Zotero Actions & Tags plugin with the following script (or edit it or find a better one): https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-actions-tags?tab=readme-ov-file https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-actions-t…

Google showed me this: https://github.com/sanketsabharwal/ZoteroScholar Here's a list of tools also: https://citationstyler.com/en/knowledge/ai-plugins-for-zotero/

They key part is the name-as-sort-order="first". Add that to line 2 of the style, the line that start with

I'm the same guy that tried helping you on GitHub. You had 2 PRs open, now you closed both. Please keep one PR open, but don't duplicate things. Also, duplicating your requests with a post here won't help. It comes across as overly pushy. As you ca…

I know where to make that change. It's not about that. You'll need to understand that this needs to make sense, especially since changing a parent style like that involves that many dependent styles will be affected. So, it has to have grounds for u…

It can happen that there is a stray citation left in your document. Turn on field codes and search for remnants for these items and delete them: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/word_field_codes
-
I assume you're talking about a document where you have cited items and created a bibliography. Delete the bibliography and then reinsert it. If that didn't fix the issue you have these duplicated citations survive in your document. You will need t…

The style already prints DOIs for journal articles when available.

Thank you for your error report. Oddly enough I made that change in the last update we released in May/2024, so something must've shown me to make that change, but obviously that was not correct. I've submitted a fix. You can use this: https://githu…

That square bracket is due to a double bracket. It does that so it can distinguish where what starts/ends. If you want, submit the style to the repository and we can see where the issue stems from: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/…
-
I think you misread the guide to you. It requests a few pieces of information so we can find a closely matching style or make one for said journal. The superscripting of footnote numbers is dealt with by Word/LibreOffice, not a citation style.

The illustrator is printed out via the "other-contributors" macro. That comma is from line 321 in the style. While you can change the delimiter in 321 that will also make it into a dot in other places.
-
Thanks. You will still need to give me the other two requested links before I look into the issue for you.
-
Can you link to the citation guidelines, a current open-access article and also "the old one" you are referring to?
-
https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requesting-csl-styles (no need to make a new thread, but please change the title of this thread, please)
-
Yes, that's correct. I would recommend that you tell us what you want to achieve in each individual case and we can give guidance or adapt the necessary citation style with/for you.
-
Remove lines 635-639 (from choose to /choose) completely. You will need to give the style a new ID etc. as mentioned here. Otherwise your style will be overwritten. Follow this: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-b…
