1.: I very much doubt that they want this. They just picked some bad examples in their guidelines. 2. Switched to "descending" 3. You will need to use a workaround. There is currently no way of doing that. Either omit the author and putting it man…

(The citation label is automatically created by citeproc, but if one is not happy with the formatting, one can override it via the citation-label variable in Zotero in extra and define it there)
-
Did you click on "Add/edit Bibliography"? See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage
-
What style did you use? You can always just add a bibliography using the add/edit citation button.

The PR was merged by adamsmith now. (generally, no need to tag us. We usually see all the threads)

It's actually not clear what the issue is. If you modified a citation style and it got overwritten, you most likely didn't change the ID and self link. It would just be overwritten. See https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editin…
-
I'm wondering, since both the author names and year are available anyway, can you not just sort by that instead of the citation-label? In the end the citation-label is based on that data anyway.

A new style just got merged today: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:bluebook-law-review

The ibid functionality is built into the style since 2020, when I made this style. Make sure you have the correct style selected in Word > Zotero > Document Preferences.
-
The sorting by citation-label works. The DIN-1502 already does so correctly. However, potentially it doesn't do it correctly for manually defined ones or ones with a letter at the end.

Assuming you're in Word. You can change the line spacing of the Word (!) formatting style directly. You will want to change the "Bibliography" style and change the spacing to single spacing under "paragraph". Basically what is shown here, but instea…

Style with modified et-al settings now available: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:elsevier-vancouver-short-author-list (The dependent style will also be changed to point to this style)

There was no need to make a new thread. Continued here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/477936#Comment_477936 The CSL Team consists of a team of volunteers not part of Zotero. The backlog is long. If it is urgent it can be done against…

Thanks. The style had many issues, I guess because they change publishers over the years. New style here: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/4aeac1069c1473b1e3ef76d7dcc7e2f39819420b/the-isme-journal.csl Let us know if you spot an…

Create an open public group library, drag the items you want to share to the group in the desktop app, and then share the link to the online library from your website. Apart from that there are more technical solutions to embed a library into a we…

Switch to APA and then back to this numeric style. That should rerender everything. If not you might want to read this: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/existing_citations_not_detected

Then you have to select the citations in your Zotero (the software) and export them. See "Quick Copy" or "via Right click" here: https://www.zotero.org/support/creating_bibliographies
-
For the Zotero add-on to add a bibliography, you'd need to have items cited throughout the document. That's what that message says. Click in add/edit citation first, add a citation. Then you can add a bibliography.
-
We have 10,000 + styles. We're s rather small team of maintainers that do this in our free time. Note that Zotero is NOT the same as the "Citation Style Language " project. We collaborate a lot, but in the end they are two separate entities. We don'…

1. It's always easier for us to help if you share your code via a code-sharing tool like pastebin.com, NOT screenshots. 2. Assuming you mean the bibliography... Currently you're calling the same author-short macro that you also use in-text. Duplicat…

If you hover over Book Author there will be a "+" on the right side. Click on that and then switch it from "Book Author" over to "Author".

We asked this question as we will have dozens of superscript numeric styles that we could recommend you. But if you want to stick with the Elsevier style, you'll need to modify it yourself to this: Read this …

(If you use a numbered list for several questions it will be easier for all of us to comment on specific issues) 1. It tells you it is not correct and valid CSL. Typically it works though unless there is a serious issue. The error stems from line 6…

1. Du hast keinen Autor, also Statista, eingegeben. Deswegen fällt er auf den Titel zurück, um etwas auszugeben. 2. Chicago will das so. Wenn dir das nicht passt, kannst du a) den Stil anpassen (bei Chicago nicht leicht) oder b) einen anderen der h…

Citation guidelines, especially for Wiley journals, are often outdated. As you see from the published and type-set article, no titles are required for journal articles. Example paper: [4] A. J. Bissette, S. P. Fletcher, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2013, 5…

You're mixing two very different things. For numeric styles the numbers are indeed managed by CSL+Zotero. That's handled via the CSL variable "citation-number" which you are using in the bibliography. The numbers for note styles, even though they c…
