Zotero, the software you're using. CSL, Citation Style Language, the system used for Citation styles that also is utilised by Zotero.
-
Super. Die Änderung machen dauert für mich keine 3min. Hast du also sofort, wenn du dich meldest. ;)
-
J." manuell eingegeben? Sehe da jetzt auch …

Also, instead of manually editing citations/bibliography, a given citation style can be changed or edited. Zotero+CSL is meant to reduce the work for you, not get you so frustrated that you just give up. ;) And the beautiful thing about Zotero is th…

The MAL does that: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:mary-ann-liebert-vancouver&dependent=0

I am not sure why you would've seen "et al." before as "si colab." is just what the style does. But you can override that very easily by doing this. You can just copy this from one of the other overrides in the style and switch the locale to "ro" as…

In Zotero you can enter the "Editors", by adding a new "author" and then clicking on that to switch it over to "Editor". https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u452233/hwubnq6jivo9vaegbax7.png

First of all, don't stress. This will be very easy to fix. What citation style and what language do you have set for your document in the Zotero Document Preferences?
-
@weinersmith You can test this style out: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/e2bd4987efebcbf74013738393ae3c97d4dda1f3/comparative-parasitology.csl
-
Paste the contents of the style to pastebin.com and share the link.
-
Use this with the Select in Zotero option. https://rintze.zelle.me/ref-extractor/
-
Ah, thanks! That's public now. :)
-
Have a look at these: https://www.zotero.org/styles?format=numeric&dependent=0
-
IEEE requires the style like that and it was a change introduced earlier this year. See here for an explanation. While we'll certainly have different numeric styles that will match what you're requesting, if you're required to use the IEEE then you…

Start with this: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/existing_citations_not_detected
-
You can try this script: https://github.com/POBrien333/citation-tools/blob/main/tags-to-extra-field.js
-
We have many note styles available: https://www.zotero.org/styles?format=note&dependent=0 Setting the language in document preferences usually localises a given style. But not everything is 100%< hence my question from earlier.
-
Can you tell us what citation style, which language and also which so-called locators you're using? Concrete examples how there output Vs what they should be help.
-
Because you have automatic updates off. The underlining shows that they haven't been refreshed yet.
-
You can just delete this line: You'll need to give the style a new ID etc. as explained here, otherwise it will not recognise it as a new style: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step
-
Testing for which year is not possible with CSL.
-
The style includes the DOI if available. Maybe your test item just doesn't have a DOI. You'd need to edit the style. What journal is this for?
-
Next time, please just point out the specific issues. This will make it easier for us and also will make it more likely somebody actually looks at it. There were just minor changes to make. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/cf2f…
-
No, please don't. Send it to info (at) citationstyler.com. (I speak German)
-
You can also utilise the Search&Replace functionality of Word for this: https://word.tips.net/T009253_Brackets_around_Footnote_References.html
-
We'd need the link to the author guidelines to look at this issue.
-
To answer your bolding question, change line 310 (citation>>layout) to this: This will make everything in the text bold, brackets+numbers+(locators). Follow the steps explained here: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_…

@katdevine The PR just got merged. Within the hour this will also be reflected on the Zotero repository.
