The style was just merged, thanks to bwiernik!
-
See #5 under "Document Preferences" here: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage

Where does this "template" come from? Official documentation from them? Why does it then contradict their published papers?
-
Looking at a current paper of TOCS that clearly shows the ACM style: https://dl.acm.org/doi/pdf/10.1145/3643029 Was this something an editor at the journal told you or you are basing on something else?
-
As I said above, I already provided a fix last night. Once it's merged it will be available. The DOI was indeed introduced in this version of the guidelines.

Our ACM style (association-for-computing-machinery.csl) does not initalise author names. That's by design and as required by ACM: https://www.acm.org/publications/authors/reference-formatting We have a bunch of other ACM styles. Can you check those…

Please see our guide on how to correctly request a citation style and add the missing pieces here in this thread. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requesting-csl-styles

Just learned how to do this. Here we are: https://github.com/zotero/styles-repo/pull/51

The SAA style was developed by us together with the SAA folks and was signed off by them. Can you give a concrete example and also show the input of the data in Zotero? Then I'll look tomorrow first thing. Edit: Found my error. PR: https://github.c…
-
I do agree. We should remove that citation.
-
You can use the example search: https://editor.citationstyles.org/searchByExample/ What you want in the footnote will go into the top field.
-
I don't really see the linked style to match what you show in your screenshot and won't be ablet to help. You need to look into "Display": https://docs.citationstyles.org/en/stable/specification.html#display You set a block for whatever you show on…
-
Which style is this? Then I can give you more concrete help.
-
We'd want to have this style fixed, if necessary, for all our users. It would take me 10min to fix this if it indeed needs fixing. Looking into this I get the following: Style guide for Internation Spectator, mentions Harvard X: https://files.taylo…
-
Yes. The style needs to get the information from somewhere and currently Zotero doesn't provide a field for it.
-
It's most likely because in your "edition" field you actually have it written out like that. It's always recommendable to just enter the number, i.e. "2", and citation styles are then able to style it as required.
-
The style is available here: Citation style for the University of Leicester for Zotero
-
You can contribute it using this guide: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md

See https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requesting-csl-styles Please add the missing information.
-
That's dependent on the citation style. Os this an error in a given style?
-
In a nutshell "It's a Word setting".
-
You may have some stray citations left in the document. Turn on Field Codes, look for the citations and delete anything left over. See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/word_field_codes

-
Is this for a specific uni? Are there guidelines available?
-
I think you should be able to use the Zotero Actions & Tags plugin with the following script (or edit it or find a better one): https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-actions-tags?tab=readme-ov-file https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-actions-t…
