That is then an issue of the citation style which can be adapted easily. (and I'd recommend instead of doing this manually)

As you can read in the other thread I linked to they heavily tested the style and we had a good bit of back and forth. If it was annoying them, I'm sure they would say something to get it changed (which is very simple).
