Do you have a link to the guidelines? Often times a university says "follow APA", but then introduce changes making it a different style that diverges from APA.

APA7 doesn't output ISBNs. The citation styles is programmed like that because APA, the guide, doesn't specify that. If you don't need to follow APA you'll be able to find a variety of other styles in the repository that include ISBNs.

Make sure you have "Use MEDLINE abbreviations" checked in your Document preferences under "Advanced".

The style was last updated in 2021. The date you see was from a minor change to its metadata that has nothing to do with the style itself. Given they mention APA a whole bunch throughout the guidelines, can you check that matches? Then we can just …

How would you see this happen if you put "Smith" in your text and have about 200 citations by "Smith" as one of the authors? And those can all be different Smiths on top of it.

It's unclear where you're looking or what you have done, as your post is lacking context. How did you save items into Zotero? Where are you looking and expecting citations?

Since you manually edited a citation (I guess you added pages) Zotero is not able to update your citations anymore. That's what that message says. So, Zotero is basically not able to do it's work since youre modifying the citations. Please see the g…
