That's by design in the style and according to guidelines. You'd need to change to a different style or edit the Turanian citation style if you wanted to remove that. If that's what you want we can explain how.

You cannot mix citation styles, no. However, you can suppress the author to achieve that it only puts the year date.

Note that once you create an item you can change the item type and that that list is actually longer (e.g. it always gets asked how to make a website item). You might find what you're looking for that way.
