Probably you can from the "File" menu "Save annotations in the file" and then open and print the PDF from any reader (like Acrobat).

When I convert .atom to .rss (using e.g. https://feedmix.novaclic.com/atom2rss.php?source=https://aaaaarg.fail/thing/recent.atom) I'm able to add the feed to my library normally. Not sure what's going on.

Thanks for clarifying. This default behavior makes very much sense for parent items where it seems almost unavoidable but - for my specific case - not so much for siblings. I'd appreciate if maybe in the future this might be reconsidered. Kind regar…

One of the recent Zotero updates apparently re-installed english "en-US.aff" and "en-US.dic" so I had to repeat the procedure - and the good news: it still works the same!
