The yellow color suffers the most from the color inversion and blending that we do in dark mode. We'll try to make it a little bit more yellow, but it'll likely never be as yellow (we have the same issue on iOS app).

We'll fix it — thanks.

The situation is quite complex. The image in question is an annotation, and the Zotero PDF reader functions differently compared to PDF.js. Consequently, annotations that contain images are not included in this case. This situation is rare, but than…

Which specific colors? Or all of them? Could you add a screenshot?
-
Screenshots would be helpful for both issues.
-
Could you make a screenshot demonstrating the issue?
-
Could you clarify what you mean by 'horizontal model'?

This issue appears to be related to insufficient memory. If your computer is compatible, you can try the 64-bit version of Zotero 7 Beta.
-
Seems to work well in Zotero 7 beta.
-
You can try to disable all third-party plugins or try Zotero 7 beta. Let's us know if that still doesn't help.

@andrewkahn Could you also send an example PDF file to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

@Eneswar Let's try drawing with the original PDF.js version. Select the pen in the toolbar and start drawing. Does it work well?
-
We'll fix it. Thanks for reporting.

Try Zotero 7 beta and let us know if this is still a problem.
-
@f-may27 Likely just the text layer is missing/invalid. Does text copying work in other PDF viewers?
-
@Eneswar Interesting. The pen is doing something untypical. But I'm not sure yet how to reproduce this to fix the issue. Does the pen draw ink annotations in other PDF viewers correctly?

We'll fix it — thanks for reporting.

@whitecola Try Zotero 7 beta.
-
Highlighting/underlining text that starts in one page and ends in another is already possible in Zotero 7 beta, although it doesn't currently exclude header/footer but this is planned.
-
You can slightly customize the dragged out text using Note Templates. For instance, using {{highlight}} in a highlight template excludes the citation and comment parts.
-
Could you test if this is still a problem on Zotero 7 beta? If so please send an example PDF file to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.

Could you test if this is still an issue on Zotero 7 beta?

@Eneswar Could you make a video demonstrating the issue?
-
@DonnaCoxBaker This is planned.

We'll fix it — thanks for reporting.

@abhinavtripa Try using the Zotero 7 beta if you haven't already, to see if the issue persists.
-
@nilssssssss Yes, I have the video — thanks. Could you also send an example PDF file, which could help us to reproduce the issue, to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread? Additionally, it would be great if the drawing option would also incl…

And if you toggle the highlight button in the annotation toolbar at the top, are you able to highlight text with a stylus?
-
Since text extracted from PDF files may not always match what's visible on the PDF page, the Zotero reader performs approximate matching (Levenshtein distance) of the typed phrase. If you believe this approach is more problematic than beneficial, p…
