Text highlighting in notes functions similarly to that in other word processors. Is there a reason the toolbar button does not meet your needs? Could you provide more details about your workflow?

You can create an image annotation and then use the right-click menu to copy the selected area rendered as an image.

@mjthoraval The issue with this PDF file is weird, but we should be able to fix that. Manually setting a preview page won't be feasable, but it might be possible to automatically detect publisher's page and then preview the subsequent page instead.

In Zotero 6, double-clicking the outline view tab button expands or collapses the outline. This feature is currently not working in Zotero 7, but we are planning to fix it.

Yes, we currently apply color filters to the entire page. Implementing them on specific content within the page, such as images, would be highly complex. I'm curious if there's a PDF viewer that supports functionality like this.
