Yes, all the issues are probably related to the same problem, and it only occurs on Windows (though I haven't tested it on Linux). We'll investigate.

And I guess none of the keyboard shortcuts are working at all, right? I.e. arrow keys.

I can reproduce that on Windows, but not on macOS. Possibly there are issues focusing reader after switching a tab.

The problem is due to poor OCR. It would be better to re-OCR the file.
