Can you test with third-party plugins disabled? If the problem still exists, could you send an example PDF file to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
We'll investigate—thanks.

The PDF file uses a sophisticated technique to make links multiline, but this doesn’t work on many PDF viewers, including Preview, PDF Expert, and Chrome viewer, although it works on the original PDF.js. It’s unlikely that we’ll fix this issue anyti…

Shift + arrow keys is fixed. In future we'll add shift+ctrl/option+arrow keys as well.

Already fixed in Zotero 7 beta.

@mjthoraval Nothing slips past your eyes! This will be fixed in the next update—thanks!
-
@nicholajraihani You can either use Zotero 7 beta or wait for the final release.

@mjthoraval Thanks for testing it. @nicholajraihani There’s no need to send it anymore.

Thanks for letting us know. We’ll investigate.

Does it happen with all PDF files?

Are the fonts actually installed on your system, or did you just download them for internal use in Acrobat Reader?
-
@mjthoraval PDF.js should already be able to use system fonts. Yes, we can consider showing a visible warning message. In fact, PDF.js already does that, but it currently shows the message in the console log.
-
Yes, the problem is that the PDF file doesn’t include the necessary fonts. One possible solution would be to install those fonts system-wide or find a way to re-export the file from Acrobat Reader with the fonts included.

Proper sorting isn’t implemented yet. The results are most likely presented in random order. In the future, they will be sorted by relevance.
-
That depends on font properties like ascent and descent. At least on the Zotero client, we are normalizing those values if they are too small or large. Do you always prefer the Zotero client line heights, or are there cases when the iOS app does a …

Can you tell more, and also provide a Debug ID for it happening?
-
Why not just sync the whole library? Or do you only want to transfer the notes?
-
1) What exactly do you mean by "vertical mode"? 2) Can you reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”)?
-
Do you mean when exporting the note as an HTML file?
-
The PDF file is corrupted, and some pages hang in PDF.js while trying to load them. I see that other viewers can properly display all pages. We’ll investigate what we can do about it. Thanks for reporting.

@oldbowl 1) Is that the same with all PDF files? 2) What mouse do you use?
