Could you provide a screenshot to better explain what you need?
-
Click the first page, then click the last page while holding Shift (this is the standard way to multi-select anything on all operating systems…). Right-click on any page and select Rotate Left/Right.
-
when I open up zotero on my other laptop the page isn't deleted and the annotations are irrevocably moved Yes, that is expected if the updated attachment isn't synced. The question is, why isn't it syncing? Do you see any errors indicating why the …

Open the thumbnails sidebar, select all pages by holding Shift, then right-click to rotate them.
-
A workaround for the issue of zoom getting stuck after scrolling will be included in an upcoming Zotero version.
-
1) Try restarting in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. Is it having any effect? 2) Does this happen with all PDF files or only specific ones? 3) Are you using Zotero iOS app?
-
Could you clarify or provide a screenshot with an explanation?
-
Could you explain a bit more about how you are reading papers? Is there a specific reason you're hovering your mouse over a link and pausing there?

Currently, Image, Ink, and FreeText annotations are only imported if they were exported into the PDF by Zotero itself. Otherwise, they are not imported to avoid potential issues when those annotations have properties unsupported by Zotero or serve a…

It extracts the references section, splits it into individual references, and then attempts to match them within the text. This feature will be significantly enhanced in future versions of Zotero. Since Zotero is open source, this functionality is a…

Do you experience the same issue when using a trackpad (assuming you have one)?
-
No, it's an issue with the software that generated the PDF file. We hope that in future versions of Zotero, we'll implement a workaround to automatically recombine the accent with the letter.
-
The citation preview popup is an experimental feature. What would you like to know about it?
-
Typically, when this happens, it indicates an issue with the PDF file. Could you check with another PDF viewer to see if copying the same text results in the accent being separated from the letter?
-
That behavior is intentional. When an annotation is newly created and doesn't yet have a comment, it's likely the user will want to add one. However, if a comment already exists, the likelihood of needing to edit it decreases, so we avoid focusing o…

Yes, I see that on the original PDF.js link on both Firefox and Chrome browsers. It sometimes stuck completely no matter whether using mouse wheel or trackpad pinch zoom. So it seems to be the same problem.
-
@mjthoraval That's strange. I can reproduce various zoom-related issues in the original PDF.js. Zooming is intermittent when using either the mouse or trackpad, and sometimes it gets completely stuck. Occasionally, the zoom direction even reverses. …

Do you have an example of this feature in another software?”
-
Can you reproduce this issue using the original version of PDF.js https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/web/viewer.html ?
-
It would be complicated for it to determine to which note window to add the annotation, therefore, it's better to just use copy and paste in this case, which will achieve the same result.
-
Possibly, the annotations haven't been imported yet and exist only in the PDF file. Do you see the annotations when you open the PDF in another viewer? If so, using File → Import Annotations should import them.
-
That's a known issue. The text layer is sometimes misaligned with the rendered text. This can happen with certain PDF files, but it usually works correctly with most PDFs. The same problem likely occurs when using the Firefox PDF viewer, as Zotero R…

We'll fix it—thanks.
-
Yes, we hope to address all of these issues. Thanks for reporting.
-
@Kbata 1. Do you see your username on the annotations? 2. When were those annotations created? 3. What happens if you create new annotations, close the PDF, and reopen it? Can you edit them? 4. Could you also provide a screenshot demonstrating the …

Yes, dark margins are planned. Thanks for reporting.

Could you send the PDF file to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
Right, this isn't normal Zotero behavior. It seems like graphical acceleration isn't working properly on your computer in Zotero. Your high resolution likely amplifies the issue. However, so far we don't have an idea why that happens.
-
Could you provide a clearer description or a screenshot of exactly what you need and where you want to see it?
-
But what about papers that are not from IEEE? Are you experiencing any performance issues with them?
