Sorry, this is not supported in web library. Your specific scenario aside, generally speaking, it makes very little sense for web library to offer option to create links to files. You wouldn't be able to open these files in a PDF reader or export w…

How old is the iPad? Web Library requires Safari 10 at the very least and for that you need iOS 10.

Zbib bibliography is stored in your browser's local storage as explained here. It's also possible to store a version of a bibliography on Zotero servers using Link to this version button. If you've used that, then the link that zbib offered can be u…

Thank you for reporting, this problem is now fixed.

Does this still happen, are you able to reproduce this issue? Could you copy an URL of an item you've edited and post it here and then also copy an URL that you did not edit but found changed and post here as well? This is a visual glitch that may …

Thanks for reporting, this issue should be now fixed.

Looks like this might have been affected by a recent update, we're looking into it.

Thank you for reporting this problem in web library! We've recently released an update which unfortunately had this bug. We're working on getting it fixed, shouldn't take more than a few hours now. As a temporary workaround: if you select any item …

The instruction does mention that the backup file is a zip file but it does not have a .zip extension. One way to deal with this is to configure Windows Explorer to display file extensions (if you google this, there are many results showing how to d…

@haug Zotero 6 will import Citavi annotations as Zotero annotations. For this to work correctly you need to follow Import From Citavi Guide. (Also it's usually best to ask new questions in new threads)
-
This output suggest you've picked a wrong file. It looks like you've picked a Citavi DB file from Documents\Citavi 6\Projects, however the instruction asks you to create a "backup" file using Citavi, which is a zip file normally created in Document…
-
Generally the import should work, it's quite easy to select wrong file for the import, so please double check if you've followed all the steps on the linked page and picked correct .ctv6 file. If that doesn't help, try running import again with deb…
-
This debug doesn't include the import process, you need to start debugging before beginning the import (you can cancel current import and restart it) and only click submit once the process resulted in error or appears stalled for a long time.

If these files can indeed be opened online (using web library) but not locally, it's possible that something (e.g. a third-party cleanup or security software) have affected your files on your computer. It's possible to reset that state, please follo…

Most of the limitations of the web library are listed here: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/web_vs_desktop

Unfortunately renaming attachments is not yet possible using the web library. We will add it in the future version but for now you will need to use Zotero to rename attachments.
-
This feature is not yet present in web library but will be added in the future. (for now pdf reader works read-only)

Just to clarify terminology: when we refer to "syncing" we mean Zotero syncing. Importing from Mendeley is a different process and it will always take much longer than syncing with Zotero servers. If your missing PDFs can be located in a web librar…
-
(it's always better to start a new thread for a new issue) It's hard to determine from your messages whether there is a problem with Mendeley import or with syncing. Does this happen on the same computer that you did Mendeley import on, or another …

Thanks for letting us know. This can happen on some devices, we have a fix ready and will be releasing it soon.
-
Please see changes not syncing and follow steps described there. Also when comparing item count within a collection, make sure "View -> Show Items from Subcollections" is not ticked in Zotero, web library does not support that feature.
-
Actually this also works in web library, i.e. pressing relevant key as described on the linked page should highlight collections in which selected item or items are contained.
-
From what I can see in the report importer had trouble accessing Mendeley servers and was terminated only 28 seconds after it was started. I'd recommend running the importer again, this time with debug enabled. Re-importing will not make duplicates…

Web library comes with some technical limitations, most of them listed here. As Adam suggested, install Zotero, which is a desktop app, which is much more powerful and can sync with your web library (and other devices).
-
This should generally work, just to make sure: did you change search mode in web library to "Title, Creator, Year + Full-Text Content"?
-
Firstly: please make sure that you actually need/want to do this. Even if your storage is full, your library will continue syncing, storage is only used for file attachments (PDFs and such). You can read more about syncing in this article. If you a…

Web Library should use browser locale setting and interpret ambiguous date input accordingly, but currently does not. We have an issue open for this and will improve this behavior in a future version. As a temporary workaround, entering date in ISO…

As far as I can tell "Automatically rename attachment files using parent metadata" is not triggered after Citavi import. This only happens when PDFs are added to existing Zotero items or metadata is retrieved for a PDF. If you right click on an att…

From your debug log: File sync is not enabled for My Library Please double check if "Sync attachment files in My Library using ..." is ticked and "Zotero" is selected in the select box next to the label in Zotero Preferences -> Sync tab.
