I can't reproduce this. Can anyone else confirm this issue?
-
@sarahr if you don't already think about subscribing to the Zotero blog. We post regularly post updates on the community there.

We pushed an update to the NBER translator out last night, it should resolve your issue within the next 24 hours. If you continue to have problems please post them in this thread and ad links to specific items that fail to import.

I am guessing that you are talking about bibliographies you have generated and not your Zotero library itself. Zotero should generally be storing things in whatever format they were in wherever you grabbed them from. If you are having trouble with h…

This is a common request and several folks are working on it. See the MakeCSL proposal and you might also try lemaxx's style generator.

If you are using the word plugin you can click on the "page" drop down menu and select "column."

I just tried OvidSP and it worked swell. Can anyone else confirm this? @lewis are you behind a proxy? If your not sure could you post one of the problematic URLs

To automatically capture bibliographic information you need to click the icon that apears in the location bar. See when zotero senses an item on a page. If you do not see the icon in the location bar there is a chance that the site you are using i…

There is currently no way to search through only your highlighting and sticky notes. That said, Zotero's basic search will search through the full text of your pages and the full text of the sticky notes stuck to those pages. If enough people are in…

Take a look at Zotero's other bibliography creation features and see if they are sufficient for your needs. If not, your best option is to use Word 2004.

yes

For the most part, sticky notes exist only on the pages. While the text of your notes are used for full search there is really no good way to export them.

A revision of the cell press translator which should resolve your issue has been pushed out . If you have any additional issues with the translator please post them here.

As you noted information about images on the web is, in general, very poor. With some sites, like flickr, that have excellent metadata it makes sense to build translators. But I am not convinced that "Save image as Zotero ArtworkType?" would really …

Does the problem persist if you restart Firefox? If it does, you might try resetting your translator's and sytles. Click the actions menu, select preferences from the drop down, then click on advanced. You should see the "Reset Translators and Style…

Zotero does not currently have duplicate detection and when it does it will still probably not be the best solution for your issue. Instead of importing and exporting your library it is probably a better idea to copy your Zotero directory and move t…

The community is working on improving the dev documentation, but sadly I do not believe there is a heavily commented translator. You might consider posting your translator and the questions you have about it to the dev list, where someone else can t…

With some quick testing I can confirm and elaborate. Just like APA MHRA adds the abbreviations and APSA, ASA CMS, and MLA all leave them out. I am not sure what each of these styles requires. I would guess that people rarely refer to chapters, optin…

There is a ticket for this.

I may be misunderstanding you, but it sounds like you are trying to take a snapshot of a snapshot. You can only highlight and add sticky notes to pages you have already archived locally. Why are you trying to take snapshots of pages you have already…

There is a ticket for this.

Could you tell me how to get ahold of the dev build? You can download the dev xpi from the bottom of the svn and trac access page.
-
If you check the "Automatically attach associated PDFs and other files when saving items" box in your preferences pane you should capture the PDF from IEEE explore whenever you capture items from either the search results page or the abstract page.
-
There is a ticket for a deleted items folder but I think this is the first request for a undo function for highlighting and annotations of archived pages. It does not seem to be as imperative as the deleted items folder, but if there is enough inte…

The issue has been resolved. Within the next 24 hours the Journal of the physical Society of japan should work properly with Zotero.
-
There is now a translator for www.oxfordmusiconline.com. It should work for you within the next twenty four hours.
-
An update to the Ovid translator was pushed last night. The database should work for you within the next 24 hours.

What happens when you look at the abstract? Can you get the reference from there?

There is some relatively new documentation on syncing with Zotero 1.0 (See Zotero over a network) In the next few months the release of Zotero 1.5 will make this considerably easier. (See the development roadmap for more details on that timeline)

It sounds like you may have somehow created a second Firefox profile. You can try launching Firefox's profile manager to switch and see if your collection is in the other profile. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles
