ChristianK, there doesn't seem to be a Zotero error in there. If you've restarted Firefox since you last got the error, you'll need to take the steps to trigger it again and then generate another report ID.
-
ScottM, if running that command didn't bring up an add citation dialog box, then there's something weird going on with Firefox. The extensions you have aren't known to interfere with Zotero, but on the off chance that they might, can you try disabli…

I don't believe it should, as long as the other (non-Zotero) profiles are started with -no-remote.
-
Remove -no-remote from the profile you want to use with Zotero.
-
ChristianK, can you provide a report ID? mostrander, it would be helpful if you could send the document to support@zot...org
-
Are you starting Firefox with -no-remote?

1) It sounds like the items for these references have been deleted from your library. Did you export and re-import your library by any chance? We have yet to see this message appear erroneously, although it's possible. 2) You need to click the "Set…

No. The template contains the buttons. If you see the buttons, the dot file is probably working. Can you try closing Firefox, opening Word, and then typing the following into the search box in the start menu: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\fire…

Can you provide a report ID (assuming there's something to be reported there)?
-
We'll track down the cause of this, but you might want to consider upgrading to OpenOffice.org 3 if it all possible.
-
It's not an error message; it's a warning. You should make a copy of your file (in case things don't work), and then you can press "OK" when the dialog comes up and things should work.

WinWord Integration 2.0a2 is now out. It should fix Flock compatibility.
-
cmaenz, try Zotero 2.0b7.2 (just released). You can update now by going to Tools->Extensions and clicking "Find Updates." For any others currently on the trunk, we've just released Zotero WinWord Integration 3.0a2, so you can switch back to the r…

Does nothing happen when you press the buttons, or do you get an error message? In the latter case, can you give us an error report? In either case, do you have any other Firefox extensions installed?
-
This probably won't make it into 2.0, since I believe the current dialog does give adequate warning and I don't want to touch the plug-in API for now, but we'll give this option in a future release. Ticket is here. Thanks.

Well, deleting that folder will make Firefox work again, but you still won't be able to insert Zotero citations from OpenOffice until we fix your freeze; the solution I posted above was just to delete the plug-in that works with OpenOffice. I'm not …
-
Well, you can get Firefox to stop freezing by deleting extensions/zoteroOpenOfficeIntegration@zotero.org from your Firefox profile directory, but this won't make the OpenOffice plug-in work. What version of OpenOffice do you have installed? (You can…

thestudentspirit, don't hijack other people's threads. Start a new one and I'll do my best to help.

loringb, that's more useful. I just made a change that may or may not fix this for you. Try clicking "Find Updates" in Tools->Add-ons in Firefox to update the plug-in. If this doesn't work, can you go to Tools->Options->File Locations in Wo…

We've fixed this issue, and an updated version of the plug-in should be available sometime in the next 24 hours. Thanks for your help.
-
Can you trigger the error by reinstalling in Preferences and then generate another report ID? I don't see a relevant error either, but there should definitely be one.
-
Can you provide a report ID?
-
Okay, I think I've fixed it. Can you try updating the plug-in from the link above again?
-
Are you having issues on the XP machine too? Does the trunk fix the issue on the 2000 machine?
-
loanna7, one of your citations is corrupt. You have three options: 1) Send the document to us at support@zot...org. We can isolate which citation is broken and send you a fixed version of the document, and you might be able to help us figure out ho…

Can you post a report ID?
-
loringb, are you using a non-English version of Word? If so, would you mind trying our trunk plug-in? You'll need to revert to the 3.0a3 version of the plug-in when it becomes available.
-
Nevermind. I think (correct me if wrong) that adenijik and Heinrich were both running Windows 2000. If this was the issue, it should be corrected in the new trunk plug-in (r5195). Let us know.
-
Also, adenijik, what version of Windows are you running?
-
cmaenz, the latest WinWord trunk is version r5161. In case your issue isn't the same as adenijik's, can you post a report ID with r5161 here?
