1) Have you tried clicking the "Refresh" button? 2) Did you modify an existing style? If so, make sure you've changed the ... block so that it's different from the style you used as a template. If you have two styles installed with the same ID, Zote…

The MacWord Integration Trunk XPI is not really very different from the released version from the moment (only two minor bug fixes different, one of which you need to be able to report the error you're experiencing to us), so data loss is highly unl…

That's odd. What operating system are you running? Does this happen every time you add a citation, or only specific citations or in specific places in your document? This isn't a fix for the underlying issue, but you could try switching to draft vi…

Can you download the MacWord trunk XPI (not the extension trunk XPI) try this again? It probably still won't work, but this should give us a more useful error message.

Can you provide a report ID?
-
We've never seen this before. Does the error happen every time, or is it intermittent? Do you have any anti-virus software installed?
-
lesica, can you provide a report ID for the latter error?
-
If you're using print layout mode, you might also be able to speed things up by switching to draft mode (View->Draft) before upgrading the document.

Zotero 2.0 doesn't support Word X. Upgrade to Word 2004 or Word 2008, or downgrade to Zotero 1.0.
-
Can you try installing the MacWord Integration Trunk XPI and see if that does anything to help you? (Don't install the Extension Trunk XPI; it shouldn't be necessary.)
-
What's the entire error message?
-
Send the file to support@zot...org and we'll try to figure out why it's failing.

Your scripts are out of date. Try opening your Firefox profile directory, navigating to extensions/zoteroMacWordIntegration@zotero.org/install, and opening install.applescript. Click "Run." You should see a dialog asking you to locate the Word Scrip…

Can you open one of the scpt files (it doesn't matter which) in the Zotero folder in Word Script Menu Items, copy the text starting with "do shell script" and ending with "on error," and paste it here?

Check if there's a Zotero folder in Documents/Microsoft User Data/Word Script Menu Items. Then check in your Documents folder for a folder with an equivalent Japanese name. If an equivalent folder exists, move the Zotero folder from Documents/Micros…

Can you provide a report ID for this new issue? We'll look into it.

Do you have a non-English language system?
-
This is an OpenOffice bug that's fixed in OpenOffice.org 3.2. If you can't upgrade, see this thread for a workaround.
-
Off the top of my head, I would guess that whoever administers your machine has locked down Java to the point that Zotero OpenOffice Integration can't function. I'm not sure where the configuration option to do this is, but if I were you, I would as…

In 3.0a9, the above script should fail. If you're getting the "Word could not communicate with Firefox" error, one of two things is wrong. Either you have a space in your username, which breaks 3.0a9, or, more likely, you're both on non-English syst…

Does this happen even when you try to add a bibliography to a new document? (Add citation[s] first before trying, of course.)

Yes, I'm guessing that you're running on a PowerPC (older) Mac, and PythonExt 2.5.2 doesn't work properly on this platform. This is fixed in the newer version of PythonExt, so if you upgrade to FF 3.5/3.6 and upgrade PythonExt, you should be good to…

Indi, make sure you're typing exactly "www.jstor.org" (with no quotes, but also no / and no http://). At least on my machine, this works. czvanut, please start a new discussion (press the big red button in the upper left) and someone will be happy …

I'm not sure why you can't generate an error report here, but, in the absence of one, I think the first step is to try uninstalling and reinstalling the Zotero WinWord Integration Firefox extension. This error suggests that some part of the extensio…

Can you submit the report ID that you get when trying to call Zotero from the command line?

Is your computer set up to log in over a network? If so, look here; the dev builds (linked from that page) fix the issue, and a stable fix should be out in the next week. If you aren't logging in over a network, with Firefox running, try opening Ter…

Is your home folder stored on a network? If so, you can either download the latest dev builds[no longer necessary] of Zotero and Zotero MacWord Integration (but heed the warnings on that page), or you can wait until the next release of Zotero, whic…

Does this happen in every document, or only in a specific document?
-
It's incompatible because MinimizeToTray breaks Firefox's command line functionality, which Zotero relies upon. In particular, the "-silent" switch doesn't work. The original MinimizeToTray and MinimizeToTray for FF 3.5 are known to have this issue,…

Do you have MinimizeToTray For FF 3.5? If so, disable it.
