Do you have an Add-ins bar at all? What is there?
-
Do you use multiple profiles? Do you ever have a problem inserting citations into a new document?
-
What fixes in the FAQ did you try? The only reason I can come up with why this might happen is if somehow the toolbar got deleted, and in that case, "Reinstall Word Components" should take care of it. We certainly can't reproduce this issue here.

You have corrupt field codes in your tracked changes. Disabling track changes doesn't help because the comments are still there, and reselecting doesn't help because the changes can't be modified. You can either set the display to Final rather than …

If you can send the document to support@zot...org, we'll take a look.

I'm not sure why, but while typing the DOI into the form on the front page of CrossRef works, it doesn't work on this page. (Fails with "DOI not found in CrossRef.") Unless there's something I'm missing, it might be worth reporting this to CrossRef.

Restart your computer, or install the 3.0 Branch WinWord plug-in.

I'm not able to reproduce this. In a new document, can you go to File->Properties, click the Custom tab, put ZOTERO_PREF_1 into the Name field and \ into the Value field, and click the Add button? If this works, can you generate a report ID w…

Zotero 2.1 will overwrite your Bibliography style with the default for the style the first time a bibliography is inserted in the document. This is by design, since the CSL specifies the spacing between paragraphs. A bug was causing Zotero 2.1b1 to …

Does this happen in a new document?
-
Did you try it? While the error is reported in Word, it's occurring in Zotero. Once you have triggered it, you should be able to generate a report ID.
-
The Word plug-in is not yet working with Zotero standalone, although it should be in a week or so. Feel free to post bug reports on the forums (in new threads, indicating that the problems are with Zotero standalone), but don't expect immediate sup…

Uninstall Zotero OpenOffice Integration in Tools->Add-ons->Extensions, then.
-
The 3.1-series plug-ins apply the Bibliography style within Word to the bibliography. If you modify this style in the "Styles" section of the Formatting Palette to set your desired spacing, it should work. (You may have to change List Available styl…

davidram, can you generate a report ID after re-triggering the error?
-
Try installing the WinWord Integration 3.0 Branch XPI (not the trunk XPI) and see if that helps.
-
Try temporarily disabling all extensions but Zotero and Zotero WinWord Integration and see if that fixes things.
-
Ah, Dan still needs to build the XPI. Should work in a few hours.
-
Just the Zotero branch should do.
-
This is fixed on the 2.0 branch. Thanks.
-
Alternatively, you could install the Zotero 2.0 Branch XPI, where this is fixed.
-
It worked with the Word 2011 betas without any modification, so it is highly likely it will work with the final version of Word 2011.
-
Citations shouldn't be automatically refreshed unless they have changed. If they are being refreshed even though they haven't changed, then this is a bug.
-
Word doesn't need to know where Zotero is. Try installing the Word for Windows plug-in again. If that doesn't work, generate a report ID.
-
This is a bug in Word 2010 and/or OpenOffice.org. Zotero isn't doing anything particularly unusual; it's just putting Word fields into footnotes. Word is solely responsible for saving these, and OpenOffice.org is solely responsible for opening them.…
-
compupane, see my post on this thread. Based on your report ID, you are probably experiencing the same issue.
-
Upgrade to Zotero 2.0.8.
-
I haven't tested it very thoroughly, but in theory, the OOo integration trunk build (but not MacWord or WinWord integration) should work. You can install the Add-on Compatibility Reporter to try it.
