I agree that modifying the CSL would be easier, but in case you're interested, the file you'd need to modify is: https://www.zotero.org/svn/extension/trunk/chrome/content/zotero/xpcom/integration.js The source for the WinWord abstraction layer is …

Re: styling, the bibliography style should get overwritten exactly once with the style defaults. Zotero can't tell if you've modified it before you insert a bibliography, but it shouldn't modify it with subsequent refreshes. Is this not what happens?

The omission is intentional. Standalone can't upgrade a 2.0.9 database because there is a locking issue that could prevent Standalone from properly recognizing that a 2.0.9 database is in use, leading to serious data corruption.

The latest trunk build includes Zotero as a tab as an option in the Zotero preferences. In Firefox 4, Zotero is automatically loaded as an app tab. These changes may or may not make it into Zotero 2.1, depending on general opinions regarding their s…

No need to post more than once. If you don't see the pink box, Java really isn't working, whether you're on a Mac or another platform. Assuming you're running Firefox 3.6.13, make sure Java is enabled in your Firefox preferences, and that you have a…

Java isn't necessary for the Word for Mac plug-in, but your error report suggests that the Word for Mac plug-in isn't actually installed in Firefox. Install it from here (step 2) and try again.

Perhaps when you associate a format with a document, it could pop up a window with general options such as language type and less general options specific to the format (for example line spacing or font of references...). In Zotero 2.1, you can mod…

Accept any changes involving a Zotero field (or just accept all of the changes, or reject them), turn track changes off, and refresh the document. As far as I know, the only case where people have reported this and it can't be corrected by reselecti…

Stan, do you have track changes on?

Use Firefox 3.6, wait until we can make a build of PythonExt for Firefox 4 that doesn't crash on 10.5, or upgrade to Snow Leopard.
-
We need to push a new version of OpenOffice.org Integration, but given that the patch seems to be working for everyone AFAIK, that will probably happen soon.
-
You probably need a newer version of Firefox 4. See my post on this thread. Zotero Standalone works because we built it off a mozilla-central build that includes a patch for this.
-
The problem is that when Zotero asks Word for the active document, Word returns "missing value." You should be able to verify this by running tell application "Microsoft Word" to active document in /Applications/Utilities/AppleScript Editor and lo…

Assuming you haven't deleted the rogue copy of py-appscript already, it would be great if you could try the Zotero MacWord Integration Trunk and see if it fixes the issue.

There are no Zotero errors there. You need to trigger the error first.

When you first install Standalone, it will ask you whether you want to share a data directory with Zotero for Firefox. If you select "No" here, your Zotero for Firefox database will not be modified.

Updating pythonext won't help, nor will the playing with the Microsoft User Data folder. If you generate a report ID, I can tell you where the outdated copy of py-appscript is. Otherwise, you can run Firefox in 32-bit mode or wait until we release a…

Looks like you have a copy of py-appscript somewhere on your system that isn't built for a 64-bit system. For now, you can either track this down or run Zotero in 32-bit mode (should be an option under "Get Info"). We're working on a better fix.

The connectors are currently untested with proxies, and I wouldn't be surprised if they don't work. We're working on this.

The error message means exactly what it says. A scheduled server upgrade is in progress.

Your error report indicates that the IcedTea Java plug-in is set as the default Java plug-in. You need to set the Sun Java plug-in as the default on your system, or else remove the IcedTea Java plug-in.

Fixed in MacWord Integration 2.1b2, now available.

You can theoretically build Zotero Standalone for x64 if you compile XULRunner for x64 and then use your XULRunner build to build Zotero Standalone (which you'd probably need to do from Cygwin, since the build script is written in bash). We don't h…

This isn't a known issue, and we can't put it in a tracking tool until we have a set of steps to reproduce it. Does this happen to you in every document, or only a specific document? Does the style matter?

This is a bug in MacWord Integration 3.1b1. It's fixed in MacWord Integration 3.1b2, available now from the Zotero 2.1 beta page.
