This works on the trunk. (Support in 2.1b5 was preliminary.)
-
Wait for the next beta. Zotero usually works fine with Firefox 4. There may be some small kinks remaining, particularly since the folks at Mozilla continue to make major API changes, but nothing that should put your data at risk.
-
Showing field codes as tooltips is a "feature" of OpenOffice.org ReferenceMarks. Unfortunately, there's not anything we can do about it.
-
I can't provide an explanation, but I'm happy to hear it works.
-
This sounds like a Word issue. Since Zotero communicates with Word using only publicly available interfaces, it should not be possible for Zotero to make Word crash. Does this happen in a new document? Does Insert->Field also make Word crash?

We don't have plans to put more effort into ens style support at this time. Your best bet is to create a CSL, or file a style request on this forum .
-
Yes. In my brief testing ,it also seems as though it should work with 2.1b5 if you remove the newlines.
-
The issue is now fixed on the trunk. In another part of the code, we were setting global properties that interfered with parsing your style because of whitespace, but apparently weren't affecting other styles. This part of the code didn't exist in 2…

You can get an error report when the style refuses to install, too, but it's essentially the same (a syntax error, now in style.js) and you can probably fix it by restarting Firefox. This is beginning to look a lot like a Firefox bug.
-
The error report has a syntax error in citeproc-js while parsing the style. I can reproduce the error, but it looks like there's no difference in the XML being parsed between the first and second time a bibliography is generated, so I am a little pu…

We will make this work properly in the next release. Right now, it's a limitation of the way we work with the tab.
-
Can you generate a report ID? The debug ID doesn't contain the information we need, but a regular report ID should.

IcedTea Bugzilla bug: http://icedtea.classpath.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=626

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=598519 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-6/+bug/596688 There is also now an IcedTea Bugzilla, I didn't see when I filed the latter bug. I will try filing there, but seeing as the plug-in t…

The scripts are almost certainly in the wrong location. Do you have a folder in Documents titled Microsoft User Data in French? If so, move the scripts from the folder titled Microsoft User Data in English to that folder.
-
What version of Zotero?
-
Try these steps. Also, the latest version of Zotero MacWord Integration is 3.0b2.

The Java depedency wouldn't be a problem if the IcedTea plug-in grated enhanced privileges to chrome code. The Sun Java plug-in does this explicitly, and always has. The IcedTea developers have not communicated with me regarding this issue despite r…

There shouldn't be any difference between the branch XPI and the current official release, but I'm glad it's working.
-
Frank and I think we know the cause of this "citations is undefined" error, and a fix should be forthcoming.
-
Thanks for reporting this. It turned out to be an obnoxious issue with Firefox 3.6 (but apparently not Firefox 4) improperly closing our open streams that took me much too long to troubleshoot, but it's now fixed on the trunk.
-
It was tested on Windows 7 x64.
-
Zotero will never modify style files. The upgrading takes place dynamically on each style load.
-
This seemed to work for me on the trunk, so this may have been fixed in r7879.
-
In Word, change Preferences->View->Field shading to None.
-
FWIW, the underlying issue here was quite simple: Zotero was failing to register when a dependent style (in this case, PLoS One) contained a bibliography. Further discussion here. The fix is already implemented and will be available in the next Zote…

A report ID (after re-triggering the error) would also be of use.
-
That should work, but 1) it requires that the overlay references only Zotero-related elements and 2) it will only work with the Zotero trunk, or potentially the next Zotero 2.1 release. With 2.1b5, you could try adding: overlay chrome://zotero/cont…

Have you followed these steps to re-install the OpenOffice.org component?
-
To re-install the component, you need to follow these instructions. If you re-install the components and you still experience an error, if you can provide a report ID, it would help us understand why you're experiencing an error.
