Are you sure that your translator target is matching the page? There's no difference in the execution environment between Scaffold and Firefox. If you're still having trouble, it might be worth posting your entire translator to zotero-dev.

Can you send the doc to support@zot...org? I have an idea about what might be happening, but it would be good to be able to test it.
-
I believe that doc.defaultView.alert() should work, but as ajlyon says, I can't imagine a legitimate reason that an alert should be necessary.
-
This usually indicates that Firefox is set up incorrectly. See this thread for some tips.

Where is the styles tab? I have the preferences window, but there doesn't seem to be a styles tab. It's under Cite->Styles in 2.1.

I can reproduce this on my Mac with LibreOffice 3.3.1, but OpenOffice.org 3.3 seems to work fine. The version of OpenOffice.org that ships with Ubuntu is based on go-oo, which contains many of the same patches as LibreOffice. It looks like one of th…

Later this week.

I've fixed this for the next Zotero release.

Zotero 2.1 requires WinWord Integration 3.1b1. You can download this from the 2.1 beta page.
-
We'll look into this.

This is an AppArmor error. Try the instructions on the troubleshooting page again, and if that doesn't work, try these steps to disable AppArmor entirely. Alternatively, we are working on a new version of Zotero OpenOffice.org Integration that shoul…

Not without changing the path (and restarting Firefox), but there is very little difference between OpenOffice.org and LibreOffice. I'm not sure why you'd need to use both simultaneously.

Open Word and select "About This Menu..." (or maybe the French equivalent) under the script menu. Click the "Open Folder" button. The folder that opens should be the one to select.
-
There's no Zotero error in that report. Re-trigger the dialog and try again. Also, make sure you've followed these steps.
-
The permissions on the /Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Office/Startup/Word directory are set so that the user you're logged in as can't write to them. Find this directory, go to "Get Info," and give yourself privileges to write to it.
-
Delete the directory you created and click "Reinstall Word Components" again, but look for a folder named Microsoft User Data translated into French, and then find the Word Script Menu Items folder within it.
-
Follow these steps (or use Firefox 3.6.13).

Chr(0) is a null terminator for the string, without which communication with OpenOffice.org 3.3.0 doesn't work, at least on a system with an English/European code page. I am now able to reproduce the issue you reported after changing my test system'…

Oops, I think that needs to be Shell """C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"" -silent -ZoteroIntegrationAgent OpenOffice -ZoteroIntegrationCommand " & cmd in the command above.

Okay, two things to try. First, you can try Zotero OpenOffice.org Integration 3.0b2. There is a very subtle difference in the code there, which makes it fail to function with OpenOffice.org 3.3.0 but may make it work on your system. If that fails, …

Okay, I installed: Windows XP SP3 Professional Firefox 3.6.13 OpenOffice.org 3.2.0 Zotero 2.0.9 Zotero OpenOffice.org Integration 3.0b3 all from new downloads, save WinXP, and I'm not experiencing any issues, so I am puzzled.

If it works with Word, then it does appear to be at the extension side. The basic communication mechanism is the same for both Word and OOo, but there are slight differences in implementation because of the many idiosyncrasies of OOo Basic. I'm tryi…

Also works for me with 3.2.0.

I tested with Zotero 2.0.9, OpenOffice Integration 3.0b3, and OOo 3.2.1 on Win XP SP3 and had no problems, and I've just verified that everything is still working. I can try 3.2.0, but I doubt there will be any difference, since 3.1.0 worked as well…

Right, that's what I mean. There's also an issue with numeric styles and the "Edit Bibliography" feature in 2.0.9 that we have fixed for 2.1, although it's still not entirely ideal since editing a numeric style will fix the number in place for subse…

I think the editor should be fixed in the Zotero 2.1 beta.
-
While I was unable to reproduce this issue exactly, I'm pretty sure I figured out the cause, and it should be fixed in the next Zotero release. It seems that when Zotero was open as a tab, Firefox was trying to load whatever was dragged within it. T…

You can replace addCitation with editCitation, addBibliography, editBibliography, and refresh. I am still puzzled by the cause here, but I may have a workaround in a couple days.

Same problem as what? http://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_bugs
