Start by updating to Zotero 2.1.6 (you have Zotero 2.1.5).
-
As of a few minutes ago, both the 2.1 branch and the trunk are compatible and marked as such. However, the word processor plug-ins are still completely untested.
-
Restart Firefox.

Repair your disk permissions. The article says Mac OS X 10.4, but the instructions are the same for Mac OS X 10.6.
-
Can you open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal and type the following ls -lad /Users/Shared/.zoteroIntegrationPipe* and copy and paste the output here?
-
What version of Word do you have installed?
-
Can you generate a report ID?
-
We've reported this issue to Avira and Kaspersky, who have determined that it was a false positive. Virus definitions from today should contain a fix. We are still waiting for a response from McAfee.
-
Those hashes are correct. I have reported the false positive to McAfee. Please post any further correspondence to the thread that adamsmith linked above.
-
Did you go through this procedure? Assuming the Zotero components are up to date, what versions of Word and Firefox do you have?
-
What directory is LibreOffice installed in?
-
Bookmarks should work in the OpenOffice Integration Trunk XPI, although you should heed the warnings on that page if you want to try it.
-
It looks like the latest zoteroWinWordIntegration DLL in SVN doesn't have this issue, so it won't be a problem with the next version of standalone, which is long overdue and should be out within the next week. My guess is that there's something abou…

It's a false positive.

There's no Zotero error in that report. Re-trigger the error message and generate another.
-
I've added some (incomplete) instructions on how to do a build under Windows using Cygwin here.
-
I've committed a somewhat simpler fix for this in r9272 which appears to work just as well. The problem will be resolved in the next Zotero release.
-
Can you generate a report ID after re-triggering the error?
-
Try installing the libreoffice-java-common package.
-
We need the report ID from the about:crashes window, or the link to the page for the report on crash-stats.mozilla.org, or the stack trace at the bottom of the report.
-
You probably need the trunk XPI if you want to use Firefox 6 Alpha. Note that this may not be the most stable setup...
-
What operating system and version of Word? Are you sure you have the latest version of the Zotero WinWord Integration plug-in? What is the report ID from your last crash? (You should be able to go to about:crashes and copy and paste the first ID in …

This is probably a bug related to a citation in a table in your document. If you can send the document to support@zot...org, we'll take a look.
-
Unfortunately in this way I am stuck - I can insert the source citations manually, but they won't be recognized from zotero, which means that the next "ibid." will refer to the last zotero item (and between them I have already a couple of manually i…

We have never succeeded in reproducing this, but see http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/12726/ for some tips.
-
Can you try inserting a citation and then generate a report ID? Also, does this happen with any style (including, e.g. APA) and in a new document?
-
There's nothing useful in the debug output beyond what's above. However, if you can send a failing PDF (preferably a small one) to support@zot...org, we'll take a look.
