Automatic updating from within LibreOffice is disabled for the LibreOffice plug-in (because it happens through Firefox, not LO). I am pretty sure this is not our bug.
-
versa, that's not the same problem. That's this problem.
-
What style are you using?
-
Install the version of PythonExt from here.
-
That seems likely. We're not sure why PythonExt doesn't work on 10.5, but its primary maintainer doesn't have any interest in supporting this configuration, and it seems unlikely that future changes to either PythonExt or Firefox will get things to …

The Mac Word plug-in (or, more specifically, PythonExt) does not work with Firefox 4 or 5 on Mac OS X 10.5. (The rest of Zotero works fine, as does the OpenOffice.org plug-in.)
-
You don't need a libreoffice-java-common package if you are using the packages from the LibreOffice website. If you have removed the Ubuntu LibreOffice packages but Zotero is still trying to install libreoffice-java-common, run sudo dpkg --purge li…

Anthony J. Langlois, try uninstalling Zotero MacWord Integration and PythonExt and reinstalling them from the installation page. If that doesn't work, try starting Firefox from the command line and check whether an error message is visible.

Zotero MacWord 3.1.3 (with the version of PythonExt available there) is compatible.
-
What version(s) of PythonExt do you see in Tools->Add-ons->Extensions? Can you generate a report ID?
-
Install OpenOffice Integration 3.5a2. If you continue to have issues, let us know.
-
Click the link to download PythonExt from here, wait until you see an install box (it may be a few minutes), click "Install Now" and restart FIrefox.
-
You should only have gotten this message if you were running the older PythonExt version we released exclusively for Firefox 4 beta, which didn't autoupdate. All PythonExt versions since Zotero 2.1 will update automatically, so you should never see …

What version of Zotero OpenOffice Integration shows up in OpenOffice.org (in Tools->Extension Manager)?
-
Can you generate a debug ID?
-
Have you tried restarting your computer?

Anthony J. Langlois, generate a report ID. tester123, this sounds unrelated. If you can reproduce it, generate a report ID as well. We can't do anything about citation insertion speeds in Word for Mac. They are limited by the way we communicate wit…

I don't know how "formal" the announcement needs to be, but the latest WinWord plug-in (3.1.1, released yesterday) is compatible with Firefox 5, as are the rest of the word processor plug-ins. We will update the front page to say "Firefox 3.6, 4, or…
-
holtzermann17, this thread is about Firefox 5 beta. Start a new thread, and provide a report ID. Also, we have now released Firefox 5-compatible plug-ins for all platforms, as well as a Firefox 5-compatible build of PythonExt, so I'm closing this t…

1. Will there be a new version of office suite integration plugins released soon for Firefox 5? There is a new version as of half an hour ago. 2. And will the plugin just work in Firefox 6 and/or 7 when it is released (and does 32 vs 64 bit matter)?…
-
They are "ready", but they are not fully tested, although the risk of document corruption is low (and zero if you keep back ups of your documents). A final release will be available prior to the release of Firefox 5. We are not aware of any issues a…

Firefox 5 is still in beta and we have not yet released updated plug-ins for it. However, if you must have Firefox 5 compatible plug-ins, you need the dev XPIs, but heed the warnings there. (Mac users, see here.)
-
AnnyHsu, can you re-trigger the error and generate a report ID?
-
Does this happen in a new document? If not, would you mind sending your existing document to support@zot..org so we can take a look?
-
There's no error in that report. You have to re-trigger the error before generating a report ID.
-
This is an issue on the Word side of things for sure. Try the instructions given here.
