It looks like there was an issue with creating hidden browsers on FF 3.6, but we've fixed this.
-
If you save from Chrome without Zotero Standalone open, items won't appear in your local database until you sync, either by closing and re-opening the pane or clicking the sync button. The author issue is something we think we've fixed for 3.0b2.
-
We should probably add a progress indicator, at least, to let people know that something is happening.
-
Are you sure your Chrome connector is up to date? If so, try disabling other extensions, and if that fails, create a report ID.
-
Thanks. This is fixed for 3.0b2.
-
Pachuco, have you tried right-clicking anywhere on the page in Chrome and selecting "Save Zotero Snapshot from Current Page"?
-
In your start menu, type (or paste) %AppData%\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP and delete the file Zotero.dot. Then restart Firefox.
-
Can you go to %AppData%/Mozilla/Firefox (you can just type it into the Start menu box) and send the profiles.ini file to support@zot...org with a link to this thread?
-
richlivi, if you're running the 64-bit version of Windows 7, try typing the following into the search box under the start menu: C:\Program Files (x86)\Zotero Standalone\zotero.exe -jsconsole If you're running the 32-bit version, try the following: …

The old one is supposed to update itself automatically, which I guess is something we may need to reconsider. (Google's policy is that, for both Chrome itself and Chrome extensions, auto-updating is silent with no option to opt out, which is a littl…

This is fixed for Zotero 3.0b2.

If it still doesn't work, can you create another report ID and a debug ID, with only one of Standalone or Firefox running (and opened while the other was closed)? Thanks.
-
Have you tried closing both Firefox and Zotero Standalone, and then opening only one of them? I think this should work. There is a bug handing off LibreOffice integration between them; this will be fixed in the next release.
-
You would need to update to Zotero 3 beta, or install the old Chrome connector, which is still available, although we won't be providing support for it.
-
Generate a report ID after clicking the add citation button. You might also try checking "Use classic Add Citation dialog" in Preferences->Cite.
-
Have you checked to see if the add citation dialog appeared behind the LibreOffice window?
-
This is by design. There is a bug in the updater that made updating the old Zotero Standalone alpha builds properly impossible. We've fixed this in the beta, but updating from alpha to beta on OS X requires a manual re-download.
-
Progress is being made, but nothing is available yet.
-
The first is a "bug" in the WorldCat item metadata. The item is listed as a journal, rather than a journal article, so Zotero refuses to import it. This won't change if you revert to Standalone Alpha, and it's specific to that particular item. The …

Can you provide sample URLs for the pages that aren't being translated correctly? If you tell me your OS, I can give you links to the Standalone Alpha, but keep in mind that if you have any issues with it, you will be completely on your own.
-
That's a good idea. I've implemented this, and it will be available in the next Zotero 3.0 beta. EDIT: And also 2.1.9.
-
In Zotero Standalone's about:config (which it sounds like you've already found, but if not, it's in Preferences->Advanced->Open about:config), set intl.locale.matchOS to false.

No. OOo Integration 3.0 was supposed to handle tables, which it does. It was never intended to handle citations in figure captions. Unless figure captions have an anchor in the main text, there is no way to number citations in them properly in OOo.

The disappearing page number issue will be fixed in 3.0b1. The issue with editing a footnote citation when only one citation is present in the document has been around for >2 years, and is definitely also an issue in 2.1.8. We will fix this in t…
-
I can reproduce this if there is only one footnote reference in the document, with either 2.1.8 or 3.0b1. If there is more than one footnote reference, it seems to work fine.
-
It sounds like you either downloaded the wrong version of the plugin, or there's something wrong with your Firefox installation. Make sure you are downloading 3.5b1 (not 3.1b1, which is also linked from that page) and if that doesn't help, try reins…

line-spacing is set to 0. That means that, if we could render this (which we apparently can't), subsequent lines would be rendered on top of previous lines. I think you mean to set line-spacing to 1, which is the default.
