There's no Zotero-related error there. Are you getting a message that an error occurred when you try to reinstall from the Zotero preferences? If so, try again (only the part from the Z preferences is necessary) and generate another report ID.

Based on that error message, the first thing to try is uninstalling and reinstalling Zotero WinWord Integration (the Firefox extension) and then reinstalling the Word Add-on from the Zotero preferences. If that doesn't work, generate a new report ID.

Can you generate a report ID from Standalone? It sounds like your preferences aren't getting saved, although I have no idea why that would be an issue.

Can you provide a report ID? It's possible there's an error that's preventing installation from completing. Also, it doesn't install the Chrome Connector automatically.

I think this is a bug that can appear when multiple Firefox windows open on startup. Close all but one of your Firefox windows and restart Firefox.

Right now I don't think it sorts at all, but at some point in the future it should probably provide the same sort options as in the main pane.

Zotero Standalone should handle the zotero:// protocol on Mac OS X and Windows. It could support the zotero:// protocol on Linux as well with the appropriate packaging.

If you can figure out how to make Word load the template without copying it to the startup folder, then you can set extensions.winWordIntegration.installed to true in about:config and it will work. I'm afraid I can't provide any more help than that.
