This is intended behavior if you have the "Store references in document" option checked, as the text below it states. It is checked by default for documents created with Standalone, but it shouldn't be checked for older documents.
-
I see this too. It's an interaction between the LibreOffice plugin and changes to the integration code. It doesn't happen with the Word plugins under any version of Word, and it doesn't happen under earlier versions of Zotero with the LibreOffice pl…

Oops. We just put up a new version, and the link wasn't correct. Should be fixed now.
-
This should be fixed in Zotero Standalone 3.0b3, available now.
-
To generate the reference list at the end of your document, you should click the "Insert Bibliography" button.
-
And if that fails, try disabling all extensions except for Zotero, Zotero Word for Mac Integration, and PythonExt, and try again.
-
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Firefox extension.

Your EZProxy doesn't have a valid certificate, which means that the connection is supposed to be secure but that it can't be verified as such. At the moment, we don't have a way of disabling this protection. The best solution would be to get your un…

Do you have the latest available updates for Word 2004? Does Word crash in new documents? Crashes in Word strongly suggest an issue with Word that's somehow triggered by Zotero, and not a Zotero issue per se, since Zotero communicates with Word by A…

Are you trying it with both Standalone and Firefox open simultaneously?

craftyleft6, your error is a bug in Zotero 3.0b2. There is a problem with a specific reference, but it may be difficult to track down. This will be fixed in 3.0b3. mj1919, provide a report ID after re-triggering the error.

This is because BibTeX export is really made for BibTeX. Without parentheses, people who use LaTeX with BibTeX would get references where the names are formatted as "Mcguire" instead of "McGuire," which is not correct. I'm somewhat surprised that Ja…

Zotero has worked fine with OpenJDK since Zotero 2.1.

First, try updating your Word plugin. The latest version is 3.1.4; you have 3.1.3.

Are they not? They should be.

The Word plugins have keyboard shortcuts, but I spent a couple days trying to figure out how to add a keyboard shortcut to a LibreOffice extension and came up empty-handed...

Is PythonExt enabled in Tools->Add-ons->Extensions?
-
Also, Zotero 3.0 will only overwrite changes made to the citation in Word if the citation has actually changed, and it will warn you first, but it's still a much better idea to use suppress author.

We think that it's this Firefox bug, and we're hoping it will get fixed in time for Firefox 9 final.
-
Can you trigger this reproducibly? Does it matter if you have PDF indexing enabled in the Zotero preferences?
-
I don't see any reason why we couldn't add a context menu option to do this. Feel free to file an issue, although I don't know if this will make it into 3.0.
-
PythonExt is installed, but it's not loading properly for some reason. Try removing PythonExt in Tools->Add-ons->Extensios and reinstalling it.
-
Also, it sounds like the issue that you originally reported is due to having Internet Explorer set as your default browser, which I think you can change within Chrome's preferences.

sdedalus1, I don't see any relevant errors in that report. Try generating another report ID immediately after re-triggering the error by reinstalling from the preferences.
