You don't have permissions to modify files within Documents/Microsoft User Data/Word Script Menu Items/Zotero, so the plugin can't update itself. You can try moving this directory to the trash and restarting Firefox to see if the installation comple…

You can use the command line switch -profilemanager, just as with Firefox.

FF will also not switch to connector mode if Standalone and FF use separate libraries.

I posted a workaround at http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/20606/zotero-mac-word-bug-all-nonzotero-tracked-changes-gone-after-zotero-refresh/#Item_3, which seems to work in my testing (although the option may be in a different place depending on w…

All of the changes are definitely still there; the problem is that it's not turning "Show Insertions and Deletions" back on after it turns it off. However, you can turn this back on yourself by going to the Review panel in Word 2011 and selecting th…

Actually, it probably just hides them, but I'll look into this.

According to the link above, this should be fixed soon in an update to LibreOffice.

The old references can't be edited because when you saved the file as a doc, OpenOffice.org strips them. If you still have the original odt, you should be able to convert that to Bookmarks, open it in Word, and edit the references.

This is a bug in Chrome. Try the steps at http://support.agilebits.com/kb/browser-extensions/crx_file_not_readable-error-when-attempting-to-install-the-1password-extension-in-chrome

The only reason you would get that error is if the document is using ReferenceMarks and not Bookmarks.

Should be fixed in Word for Mac Integration 3.1.9, available now.

Can you upload a screenshot to an image sharing site (e.g., imageshack.us or tinypic.com)?

Actually, you will get that error, but afterwards it should work, and I've fixed the error but I have to wait for Dan to build a new XPI.

zoyoni: Yes, you can downgrade to a non-dev version. I don't know if you will receive the same error cedhoh081 got, but it won't destroy any data and you can always revert to the current version.

I'm going to assume that this is fixed for Word for Mac with Zotero Word for Mac Integration 3.1.9. If it's not, start a new thread.

Can you try the Word for Windows Integration Dev XPI, which should fix this?

Can one or more of you try the Word for Windows Integration Dev XPI, which should fix this?

The fix is now available in Zotero Word for Mac Integration 3.1.8.

I've amended the error message for the next release.

That path is left over from an older version of the plug-in. The new plug-in no longer uses it. The only thing that deleting the preferences would accomplish is to force the LibreOffice component to be reinstalled, which shouldn't have an effect on…

Things broke overnight because we had to update all of the Word plugins for Firefox 8, and there are bugs. zoyoni: would you mind sending the file to support@zot...org and letting us know which footnote you're having trouble with? I'm having trouble…

The error is pretty generic: [JavaScript Error: "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIServerSocket.init] Something is blocking Zotero from binding to that port.
