I'm trying to reproduce this but I haven't been successful. Does adding a citation work in a new document? If it does, would you mind emailing your broken document to support@zot..org?

We'd need a debug ID from the branch XPI above to troubleshoot further.
-
Can you generate a debug ID? Does the classic add citation dialog work?
-
Do you have libnotify4 installed? It seems as though XULRunner 9 has a dependency on this. If not, install it with your favorite package manager (e.g., apt-get, Software Center, or Synaptic).
-
Can you send your document to support@zot...org?
-
I've fixed the first issue. I'm not sure I understand the steps to reproduce for the second issue, but there's a good chance it's fixed as well.
-
Can you be more specific about what you mean by "it seems to have no connection to my Zotero database"? There's an error there, but it's not obvious what it is.
-
That report ID looks like it's from Zotero 3.0b3, not the branch XPI. Did you restart Firefox after installing the branch XPI?
-
Can you generate another report ID?
-
Can you try installing the 3.0 branch XPI and see if it fixes your issue? If not, can you generate another report ID with it?
-
Can you try generating a report ID after re-triggering the issue?
-
Do you have any other add-ins installed? This post suggests that disabling them might help.

Python doesn't like the colons in your home directory (::ariana::). To get things to work, you'll have to rename your user account to get rid of them by following these instructions.

I can't reproduce this on my Ubuntu test VM. The currently available tarball shows up as 3.0b3.2 for me, and I don't get a prompt to update. Auto-update should also work (and does for me), although it probably requires that your user account has wri…

Command/control + down arrow, 3 x tab, space, return.

I'm happy to give it a try. You can email the file to support@zot...org with whatever instructions you can provide. Another thought: is the issue more likely to happen the first time you add a citation after restarting Firefox?
-
Yeah, I don't see why that option would make a difference to anything. I made some changes for our next beta that may resolve whatever was happening, but since I was unable to reproduce it in the first place I'm not too confident.

Is PythonExt disabled? This is the most common cause of the error I see in your error report. If you're sure it's enabled, then this may be difficult to troubleshoot. Try generating generating real-time debug output for the entire process from start…

jan.franko, that's a very different issue from the one discussed in this thread. Please keep in mind that, when you reply to a thread, most of the people have posted to that thread will receive email notifications. If you aren't sure if your post is…

That was indeed the case. There was another issue causing that error to be thrown, which wasn't causing the hangs, but which I've fixed anyway. I've reverted the changes to the Google Scholar translator and also fixed recognizePDF.js so that this wo…

donboyd5, do you have an "Add-ins" tab in the Word 2010 ribbon? If Zotero.dot shows up under add-ins, the Zotero buttons should really be there.

I fixed an issue that could cause the box to become unresponsive for a few seconds with large documents, but I can't reproduce any loss of focus. Are you sure that it's losing focus and not just pausing?
-
Fixed. Thanks.

Fixed for the next release. Thanks.

I can't reproduce this. Is the installation failing? Can you provide an error report?
-
This should be fixed in Zotero 3.0b3.2, available now. Go to Help->Check for Updates to get it.
-
Zotero 3.0b3 is compatible with Firefox 10. Zotero 2.1.10 isn't compatible with Firefox 10, and we don't plan to make it compatible, since we plan to release 3.0 final before Firefox 10.

I'll take a look, but my first thought is that tightening the detect code for Google Scholar may have broken something.
