The scrolling should have worked, but it was broken. It will be fixed in 3.0.2. We still plan to add save and print support, but we haven't gotten to it yet.
-
It sounds like you need to install Zotero for Firefox, or that it somehow got disabled.
-
Provide a report ID after trying to click the Preferences button.
-
If you're on Windows you can set the hidden preference extension.zotero.integration.keepAddCitationDialogRaised to true.
-
I have a fix for this (provided you are logged into your library proxy in Chrome) that will probably make it into 3.0.2.
-
We were incorrectly throwing an error when the COinS lacked an author or title and couldn't be looked up in CrossRef. This will be fixed in 3.0.2.

Are you using LibreOffice 3.5.0rc3? That looks like the bug in LibreOffice 3.5.0rc2 that we've seen before. Everything is working fine for me in 3.5.0rc3.
-
Fix released.

I was testing workarounds for the LibreOffice bug and it looks like that test code accidentally made it into the release version. We'll release a fix shortly that should make this work with 3.5.0rc3+.

If your user account owns the Zotero Standalone installation, then you can auto-update. From a security standpoint this is a much better idea than running Zotero as superuser.
-
If you can isolate a part of the document that causes the problem and send it to support@zotero.org, or if you don't mind sending us the whole document, we'd appreciate it.
-
Start by updating to the latest version.
-
Would you mind sending the document to support@zotero.org so we can take a look?
-
It's also worth noting that your user account needs to have write access to the directory to auto-update.
-
You also need to set intl.locale.matchOS to false.
-
It's a bug in LibreOffice KDE integration. See here.

Try opening ~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft (in Finder, using Go->Go to Folder) and moving the Office 2011 folder somewhere else.

I've added a workaround for the Firefox 10 detect issue to the unAPI translator. It should be automatically updated within 24 hours, or you can press the "Update now" button in the Zotero preferences. However, unAPI has additional trouble on the pa…

FWIW, this broke detection.

Firefox 3.6 is available at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html You're also welcome to try the MacWord Integration Trunk XPI, which should work with Firefox 10 on Mac OS X 10.5, but it's very new and potentially completely unstable.
-
But note that Zotero 2.1 uses the same Word plug-ins as Zotero 3.0, and both will work with Firefox 3.6 on Mac OS X 10.5.8.
-
MODS won't work in connectors, because it still uses E4X. Anything else should.
-
Detection was apparently broken by Firefox 10, not Zotero 3.0.1. It looks like the way Firefox enumerates the properties of NodeLists has changed. I'll look into both the detection and translation issues.
-
On my PC-BSD VM, I just installed Firefox via AppCafe and Zotero from the XPI on our website. Unfortunately, I don't have a clue why it works for me but not for you.
-
Can you explain the visual symptoms in more detail? How do you know it's out of focus? If you can take a screenshot or screencast, that might be helpful.
-
There aren't guidelines. There's default CSS for each element. We alter it on some elements, but so does Firefox. There is no general issue, just a conflict between Zotero's styling expectations and those of your theme of choice.
-
These errors are harmless and should be ignored. They occur because Firefox requires different binary components for different Firefox versions, but doesn't provide a good way to specify which version of a binary component should be used for a given…

We reduced the amount of padding immediately below the tabs because it's a better use of space with the default theme. I don't think we want to decrease the amount of padding to accommodate custom themes at this time. (Also, FWIW, the OS X "pinstri…
