This is fixed in in Zotero 3.0.1, which is available now.
-
Luckily we are getting rid of PythonExt in less than six weeks.
-
This is fixed in Zotero Standalone 3.0.1, available now.
-
If you download it from within Chrome, it will ask you if you want to install it. Click "Continue."
-
Try accessing Zotero from the script menu (to the right of the Window menu).
-
I think I may have fixed this, although I couldn't reproduce the Xorg usage issues.
-
kristina.hart@medizi: in Zotero 3.0, you can edit references directly within the document. However, if you want to return to the classic Add Citation dialog, see the second post above.

The message there is wrong; it should say Zotero Standalone. However, that error message is bizarre, and seems to suggest that something that's supposed to come with Mac OS X is missing. Can you open /Applications/Terminal.app and type the following…

I just tried installing Zotero 3.0 and PC-BSD 9.0 in a VM and it seemed to work fine, although I must admit I didn't test extensively.
-
I was able to reproduce the "white line" artifact, and I think I fixed that on the 3.0 branch. I also made focus more reliable, although I wasn't able to reproduce the specific focus issue you note above, and I didn't see the slow scrolling. When yo…

What Linux distribution and version of LibreOffice do you have installed?
-
Re: 3, plugins can be installed for Standalone (through Tools->Add-ons), and I think the latest versions of Zotero QuickLook and ZotFile are compatible. Other limitations: You can't create notes from text or snapshots from links with Standalone …

This looks like an issue with drawing the UI. What version of Ubuntu are you using, and with what window manager and desktop environment? I can try to reproduce with those settings.
-
Have you tried deleting the bibliography on the first page? It's possible that there's a Zotero bibliography field there, which Zotero will replace with the full bibliography each time the bibliography changes.
-
That should work. You can also copy the files msvcr80.dll and Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest from C:\Program Files\Zotero Standalone\xulrunner to C:\Program Files\Zotero Standalone. I've filed a bug with Mozilla and we'll fix this in the next release.
-
Thanks. This will be fixed in the next release. For now, you can switch to using the classic add citation dialog by default in Zotero Preferences->Cite if you need it.
-
Can you generate a report ID immediately after starting Firefox? There are no Zotero errors in this one.
-
While it required a disturbingly large amount of code, I think I've fixed the residual focus issues for 3.0.
-
This certainly shouldn't be happening, although Can you create a debug ID with 3.0rc1.1? Also, we'd appreciate it if you could tell us your video card, window manager, and desktop environment so that we can try to reproduce this. We can help you fin…

We have an issue for this.
-
The problematic citation is this one. If you delete it, the document should work again. However, if it's possible, we'd appreciate it if you can send the document to support@zotero.org first so that we can take a look.
-
Do you have track changes on? While we try to support track changes in our newer plugins, it might not be working quite properly. If you do, try accepting your changes.
-
Not our bug: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/21489/zotero-30-fails-to-insert-footnote-citations-with-libreoffice-35/
-
Rintze's suggestion will work fine with Firefox
-
No. This would be non-trivial to do, and having both a connector and a full extension available for Firefox would be confusing for users. However, we might be able to package a future version of Zotero so that the extension doesn't need to be decomp…

The latest version of the Word plugin is compatible with Firefox 9.0.1.
-
Looks like the fix for this will make it into LibreOffice 3.5.0 final.
-
Thanks for reporting this. There appears to be a regression in LibreOffice 3.5rc1 that breaks the function we use to insert formatted text. I've filed a bug with LibreOffice. I hope someone will care enough to fix this for 3.5 final...

The next LibreOffice plug-in won't break on citations in text frames, and will allow inserting citations into text frames, with a warning that they will be formatted as if they're at the end of the document. In Word, we don't get the fields from te…
