Post the URL of a page that doesn't display the URL bar icon.

Make sure you have the latest version of Zotero Standalone installed and that it's open. (The Word plugin doesn't talk to Safari; it talks to Firefox or Zotero Standalone. The message you are getting has been updated to mention Zotero Standalone in …

Provide a report ID after re-triggering the error.

It might also help if you can take a screenshot of what's inserted into the document, upload it to an image sharing site (tinypic and imageshack are two options), and post the link here, so that we can have a better idea of exactly what's happening.

fah924: It's unlikely that reinstalling the Word plugin will fix your issues. If your user account has privileges to delete Zotero.dot from the Word startup directory, but you can't install Zotero.dot from Firefox, it sounds like security software t…

NenB, are you using the "Create Item from Current Page" button to save a snapshot of the page that shows the PDF? If so, does the PDF save if you use the URL bar icon on the abstract page instead?

mwyczes: this has been fixed upstream for several months. If it's still broken for you, you should report it to Mandriva and ask them to recompile Firefox with a build of gcc that isn't broken (4.4.7 or later), or you should do that yourself. See my…

This sounds like it may be related to http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/16250/unintelligibly-long-tooltips-crash-compiz-ubuntu/. Does disabling tooltips in LibreOffice fix it?

Open Firefox in safe mode and uninstall Zotero Word for Mac Integration. Then install the Zotero Word for Mac Integration 3.5.4, which shouldn't have this issue.

From that error, it looks like at least one of your files has an invalid path. We should probably just ignore the files in that situation, and I've corrected this for the next release. Try installing the 3.0 branch dev XPI, which includes this fix, …

There are three errors in that error report, all of which should have appeared in dialogs when you clicked the buttons in the toolbar. Are you saying that you're not getting any errors at all? Or is there some functionality in particular that isn't …

Follow the steps on the debugging broken documents page, particularly #8. I don't think there's much else I can do without the document, but those should work.

Does the error still come up on refresh if you delete the bibliography?
-
First, try deleting the bibliography and inserting a new one. If that doesn't work, follow these steps. If you don't mind, we'd also appreciate it if you could send the document to support@zotero.org so that we can figure out exactly why this error …

This feature doesn't support updating citations after they've been inserted, so it's not really different from what you can achieve by dragging a reference from the Zotero pane into a Google Doc. As far as we know, there's no API that would permit u…

It should be possible to make the toolbar work. Try these steps.

Are you using the scripts from the script menu or the toolbar? If the latter, does it make a difference if you use the script menu?
-
What version of Word do you have?

This functionality is available in Zotero 3.0.4+.

[JavaScript Error: "mm is null" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/citeproc.js" line: 10652}] What citation style are you using?
-
You can also run ./build.sh -d which won't build the installer, and doesn't require NSIS or its plugins. You can then run zotero.exe from the staging directory.

Do you also have the ure package installed? Is the JRE selected in the LibreOffice preferences?
-
Do you have a Java runtime environment installed as well as the libreoffice-java-common package?

If you still have the portion of the document that was causing problems, would you mind emailing it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

Open Firefox in safe mode and either update Zotero Word for Mac Integration, or remove it.
-
Can you update to Zotero 3.0.7 and see if that fixes it? (You have 3.0.3.) Otherwise, can you generate another debug ID?
-
Zotero Standalone is based on XULRunner and written primarily in JavaScript. If you do a recursive checkout of the GitHub repository, you will get both the build utility and source (checked out into modules/zotero). (See here for full build instruct…

Sorry, can you generate a debug ID as well?

Can you provide a report ID after re-triggering the error?
