Cherry, The phrase "DB Repair Tool" in Dan's post is a link. Click it and it takes you to a page that explains how to use it.
-
What version number did you have? And which one were you trying to upgrade to?
-
For Word 2003, Check View/toolbars/ and see if Zotero Bibliographic Management is checked. If not, check it. If it is, post back. Other versions of Word might have this option in a different location.
-
Are you using the latest FireFox build, 3.0.4?
-
We still might be able to fix this for the VBA plugin. Here's hoping! And thanks for the update.

In the citation window, if you click on "Show Editor..." (in the lower left corner) you can rearrange and edit the citation. Does that do what you want? NOTE: However...and I'm NOT SURE on this, but I THINK once you edit a citation it won't neces…

Since the citation window covers up my document where I have entered my quotation with the page number I need to cite, I thought I would just copy the page number(s) before inserting the citation and then paste it in. (Yeah, I have lousy short-term …

What is the version number of the previous version of Zotero? And also of Firefox? Edit: What Dan said. :)
-
If you click on the actual title in the right pane (in this case "Privacy Policy") you can edit it to anything you want.
-
I'm not sure if this give you all you want, but have you clicked on the arrowhead beside "Page" on the insert citation window? It opens a drop down box with a number of options (book, chapter, column, figure, paragraph, section, etc. If that does…

I've discovered another problem when citing the same author multiple times in one citation: When the first occurrence has no date (and the date field is blank), NONE of the dates show up. Example: What should be (Yoder, n.d., 1908, 1916, 1930) sho…

Thanks Jon! I've been going nuts ever since I got back from a trip on Monday.

Is "Automatically attach associated PDFs and other files when saving items" checked in the Preferences window? To find out, click the gear icon and then the "General" tab.

@hgevertz, Do you have the address bar showing? (View/toolbars/address bar)
-
Clicking on the word "Author" (in the right-hand pane) opens a box with other options, such as translator or editor. Clicking on the "+" sign at the end of the line allows you to add multiple "creators". You can have them listed as authors, editors…
-
Oh. OK. Ooops.
-
It appears to be not quite as trivial as one might like. But it is on the radar. (Last part of the post addresses this).
-
You mean like pressing the "-" (minus) key to collapse and the "+" (Plus) key to expand? :) Note: you need to click on one of the items in the center pane.

Is your tag selector box open? Try closing it or reducing its size.
-
Is there a space before the title or author?
-
It's in the works: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/665/ http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/3240/duplicate-entry-warning Until then, you need to sort your entries (probably by title) and delete them manually.
-
That's really good news, since I do work in two languages. Gotta love how responsive Zotero is to the needs of its users!!! ¡VIVA ZOTERO!

Here's a thread that talks about this: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/3894/format-text-in-notes

I don't know if FireFox is different on a Mac or not, but on a PC you need to make sure that the status bar is enabled: View/Status Bar. Does that solve the problem?
-
The citation manager opens up to the last subcollection used. If you put that item, or a few of the references you are citing into a subcollection, you won't have to wade through your whole database each time you insert a citation.

Is it still grayed out after you delete something?
