If these translators are ready for primetime, we are happy to add them to the general Zotero repository. Please let us know.

It looks like you're using a beta version of SpringerLink (check your URL). The normal version continues to work. We'll examine the beta URL to see what might be changing.
-
I am able to import articles on your first link (e.g. http://bloodjournal.hematologylibrary.org/cgi/content/abstract/blood-2007-03-081364v1) as well as the article contained in the second link (http://aje.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/full/kwm121v1…

We have repaired the EBSCO translator. Zotero should update to the new translator automatically within 24 hours. You can update manually by going to the Preferences under the Actions (gear) menu and clicking "Update Now".
-
The import is almost certainly not "freezing" but rather taking a very long time. During file import, which involves very many discrete database operations, we really start to see a performance slowdown, especially on Windows systems. Our latest d…

I can't replicate any problems when I click Create New Item from Current Page. I tried the Obama article using Firefox 2.0.0.3 on a MacBook Pro and the latest public beta release of Zotero (b4.r5). Can you please make sure that everything on your …

We've updated the PubMed translator to handle the new beta site. Both old and new versions of PubMed should now work.
-
I'm not experiencing any problems with PubMed. Please provide specific articles/searches that are not working.
-
Google Scholar provides very limited metadata (e.g. author initials instead of full given names). Our translator can only scrape whatever data GS makes visible. If you could provide a couple of examples of references that aren't working properly, …

I've updated the relevant translator, which you can download immediately by going into your Zotero preferences and clicking Update Now. Please let me know how it works.

Cate: a book chapter from an edited volume is entered as a "Book Section" item. You'll find a "Title" field for the chapter title and a separate "Book Title" field. Enter an "Author" for the chapter author and an "Editor" for the book editor. The…

Could you please provide a few sample books/pages that are not recognized? Thank you.
-
Thanks for your interest in Zotero. This feature has already been implemented in our development branch and will be available in the next release.
-
Bill, Sounds good. Thanks for all of your hard work. It's terrific to have people in the community taking the initiative to expand Zotero's functionality.
-
Bill, If you are satisfied with this translator, we would be pleased to roll it out into the general Zotero distribution. Please let us know whether it's ready.
-
We have supported ISI Web of Science for months.
-
I can easily add PMID to the translator. Where do you suggest that we store it? Call Number? Loc. in Archive? Extra?
-
Thanks for the heads up. ProQuest has made some changes to their site. A new Zotero translator will be available shortly.
-
No problems here when trying to save the article noted by Jon Rubin. Jon, are you still experiencing problems with that article?
-
The icon should definitely be showing on the page you suggest. Could you please send me your console output when visiting that page?
-
I checked the above link suggested by the original poster. If I then click on "Abstract", I get a Zotero article icon and can save the article without any problems. Endnote uses a variety of formats, most of which Zotero already supports. The "Re…

JSTOR has been supported for several months. Before requesting compatibility with a resource, you might want to verify whether Zotero in fact already supports it.
-
Are you clicking the Zotero article icon in the location bar? It sounds like you might be clicking the "Create New Item from Current" page icon in the Zotero pane, which only creates an item with a web page snapshot. Instead you'll want to click t…

The translator has just been updated and should work now.

A translator for SPIRES is now available. Please let us know what you think.
-
Sorry about that. We were running an outdated version of the WordPress COinS plugin. The page should import now without any problem.
-
Thanks for the heads-up. I've fixed the translator, and it is available for download now.
-
Oh, I get it now. Yes, that's a good idea. And we also plan to add drag-and-drop support from the file system.
-
Our problems with arxiv.org have been solved. The new translator is available immediately.
