Do you mean from the browser or from the file system? Currently in the browser you can right-click (or control-click) a PDF to add it to your library.

I get slightly different but still incorrect behavior. References which should display as, for example, (Author 2005a) display as (Author 2005) when first cited. When cited subsequently, they do display as (Author 2005a). Sources that should cite…

Is there a schema available for the EverNote XML output?

Thank you, Alain. I checked all of those catalogs and did not find any way to generate a MARC record. Without a MARC record or other structured data form, it will be very difficult to create a translator for HIP 4.1.
-
John: I'm not encountering this problem. Could you provide us with a specific search query or record that's misbehaving? Odds are there's something wrong with COPAC's COinS tagging, but I would like to confirm. Thanks.
-
Could you please provide us with a few examples of library catalogs running HIP 4? If so, we can adjust our translator to function with the newer version.

The earlier problem noted by kulnor was unrelated to arxiv's new format and was solved over the weekend. Now it appears that arxiv's OAI-PMH back-end is down. Once it is back up, we'll be able to test their new format and make sure that everything…

cartesian: Could you please replicate the problem while running Firefox from the console? 1. Go to about:config in the URL bar and make sure extensions.zotero.debug.log is set to true. 2. Close Firefox, and then restart it via the command prompt:…

cartesian: Could you please follow the error reporting instructions posted here? Since we don't have access to your particular EZProxy configuration, we're going to need you to collect some more information for us. Thanks.

Using RIS is probably the best solution at this point. We plan to add support soon for Endnote's XML import/export format which will provide something closer to lossless transfer between the two applications.

The updated arXiv.org translator is now available.
-
Perhaps it would make sense to embed the article citation COinS tag on the main page for all articles? Any included references would also show up as importable citations.
-
Our SpringerLink translator relies on the site's RIS files, which in this case unfortunately do not include the abstract.
-
Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. We will update the arXiv.org translator shortly.

It sounds like you were having a problem with the Firefox add-on whitelist. We highly recommend installing from our site, not from Mozilla's add-on site. Please see our instructions.

Elio: we removed automatic snapshot capture from the JSTOR translator because it only saved the first page. Instead, we support full article PDF download (as long as you have the "Automatically attach associated PDFs..." preference set).

vav: It's not clear to me exactly what kind of problem you're experiencing. What is the bug? Are you saying that Google Scholar works elsewhere but not on your university network or through your university's portal?
-
mass: When right-clicking a link to a PDF file, selecting "Save Link As Zotero Snapshot" will download the PDF to your Zotero library.

scot: We have fixed this problem, and the updated translator is available now. Thanks again.

Thanks for the heads up. We're looking into the problem.
-
Could you provide a few URLs of library catalogs using the system for us to examine?
-
Yes, citation export may depend on the subscription level. If you don't see an "export citation" link on the right side of the screen, you do not have access to ScienceDirect's citation export functionality. Hence Zotero cannot import the citation.
-
Thanks for bringing the series problem to our attention. We will be adjusting the COinS, MARC, and RIS translators in the next 24 hours to address this issue (Aleph relies on MARC).
-
Thanks for your comment. a. I'll open a ticket to adjust the ScienceDirect translator to add .pdf to the filename. b. Haven't seen this one before. I'll look into it. c. Great idea.

This looks like a problem on their end: Ingenta is not formatting names nicely (i.e. with a comma between last and first).
